4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning
Wipe the exterior of the amplifier with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish or internal components.
4.2 Fuse Replacement
In case of a power surge or internal fault, the fuse may blow. Disconnect the power cord before attempting to replace the fuse. The fuse holder is located near the AC input on the rear panel (refer to Figure 4 for internal view of fuse location). Replace with a fuse of the same type and rating.
5. Troubleshooting
- No Power: Ensure the power cord is securely connected and the voltage switch is set correctly. Check the power outlet and the amplifier's fuse.
- No Sound: Verify all audio input and speaker connections are secure and correctly polarized. Ensure the correct input source is selected and the volume is turned up. Check if the 'LOUD' button is engaged if sound is too low.
- Bluetooth Connection Issues: Make sure the amplifier is in 'BT' mode and your device's Bluetooth is enabled and searching. Try unpairing and re-pairing the device. Ensure no other devices are actively connected to the amplifier via Bluetooth.
- Poor FM Reception: Extend and adjust the FM antenna for better signal. Try repositioning the amplifier.
- Microphone Hissing/Interference: Ensure microphone cables are properly connected. Try adjusting the 'MIC VOL' and 'ECHO' controls. Move microphones away from speakers to prevent feedback.
- Subwoofer Connection: If connecting a subwoofer, ensure it is an active (powered) subwoofer and connected to the 'LINE Output' of the amplifier.
