7. Operating Instructions
7.1 Power On/Off
Flip the main power switch located on the front panel to turn the unit ON or OFF.
7.2 Adjusting Temperature
- Press the 'TEMP' button. The temperature value on the LED display will flash.
- Use the up (▲) and down (▼) arrow buttons to adjust the desired temperature.
- The unit will quickly reach and stabilize at the set temperature.
7.3 Adjusting Airflow
- Rotate the 'AIR' adjustment knob clockwise to increase airflow or counter-clockwise to decrease it.
- The airflow level will be displayed on the LED screen.
7.4 Using Memory Channels (CH1, CH2, CH3)
The station features three memory channels to store frequently used temperature and airflow settings:
- To Save: Set your desired temperature and airflow. Press and hold one of the CH1, CH2, or CH3 buttons until the display indicates the settings are saved.
- To Recall: Briefly press the desired CH1, CH2, or CH3 button. The station will automatically adjust to the stored settings.
7.5 Straight Air / Spiral Air Selection
Use the 'Straight Air/Spiral Air' buttons to switch between different airflow patterns based on your application needs. Spiral air is generally preferred for even heating and component safety.
7.6 Handle Induction Switch
The hot air gun handle is equipped with an induction switch. When you pick up the handle, the system quickly enters working mode. When you place the handle back into its stand, the system automatically enters standby mode, reducing power consumption and prolonging the life of the heating element.
7.7 Celsius and Fahrenheit Conversion
The unit supports conversion between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature units. Refer to the full manual for specific button combinations to toggle this setting.
7.8 Temperature Calibration Function
If the heating element is replaced or if you suspect temperature inaccuracies, the unit can be recalibrated. This machine uses a digital temperature calibration method where corrections can be made via incremental key input. Refer to the full manual for detailed calibration steps.
8. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Regularly clean the hot air gun nozzle and the station's exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Ensure the unit is unplugged and cooled down before cleaning.
- Nozzle Care: Keep nozzles free from solder residue and debris to ensure optimal airflow and performance.
- Heating Element: The unit features an automatic air cooling function to prolong the life of the heating element. If the heating element needs replacement, ensure proper temperature recalibration afterwards.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the soldering station in a dry, dust-free environment.
9. Troubleshooting
