5. Setup
5.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the radio.
- Slide the cover open.
- Insert two (2) AAA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
Important: When the radio is not in use for an extended period, please remove the batteries to prevent leakage. Replace batteries when the sound becomes weak or beeping occurs, indicating low power.
5.2 Powering On/Off
- Press the Power/Sleep button (1) to turn the radio on.
- Press and hold the Power/Sleep button (1) to turn the radio off.
5.3 Connecting Earphones
- Insert the 3.5mm jack of the included earphones into the Headphone Socket (4) on the side of the radio.
- The radio's internal speaker will automatically mute when earphones are connected.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Adjusting Volume
- Press the Volume + button (13) to increase the volume.
- Press the Volume - button (14) to decrease the volume.
6.2 Switching Bands (AM/FM)
- Press the AM/FM & SCAN button (11) to switch between AM and FM bands. The current band will be displayed on the LCD screen.
6.3 Tuning Radio Stations
Manual Tuning:
- Press the TUN+ button (7) to increase the frequency.
- Press the TUN- button (8) to decrease the frequency.
Automatic Scan:
- Press and hold the AM/FM & SCAN button (11) to automatically scan for available stations and store them as presets. The radio can store up to 58 stations (29 for each band).
6.4 Using Presets
- Press the M+ button (9) to cycle through stored presets in ascending order.
- Press the M- button (10) to cycle through stored presets in descending order.
Storing a Station:
- Tune to your desired station using manual tuning.
- Press the MEMO/DEL button (12) briefly to enter memory mode. The preset number will flash.
- Use M+ (9) or M- (10) to select the desired preset number.
- Press MEMO/DEL (12) again to confirm and save the station.
Deleting a Station:
- Select the preset you wish to delete using M+ (9) or M- (10).
- Press and hold the MEMO/DEL button (12) until the preset is deleted.
6.5 Antenna Usage (FM)

- For optimal FM reception, fully extend the Antenna (5).
- If reception is poor or disturbed by strong signals, try adjusting the antenna's length or position.
6.6 Orange Backlight

- For convenience in low-light conditions, the radio features an orange backlight.
- Press any button when the radio is on, and the backlight will illuminate for 5 seconds.
6.7 Time and Alarm Setting

The radio includes an alarm clock function. Refer to the full user manual (if available) for detailed instructions on setting the time and alarm.
6.8 Lock Function
- Slide the Lock Switch (2) to prevent accidental button presses, useful when carrying the radio in a pocket or bag.
