1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Junsun V1/V1 Pro/V2 Plus Car Multimedia Player. Designed for Skoda Superb 2 models from 2008 to 2015, this device integrates advanced features such as AI Voice Control, Wireless CarPlay, Android Auto, 4G connectivity, GPS navigation, and a DSP sound system to enhance your driving experience.

4.1. Pre-Installation Check

Ensure the product is compatible with your Skoda Superb 2 (2008-2015) model. The power cable is designed for a pin-to-pin connection for easy installation.

4.2. Rear Camera Connection

To connect the rear camera, follow these steps:

1. Connect the red cable (①) to the backup light's positive (+) terminal.
2. Connect the black cable (②) to the backup light's negative (-) terminal.
3. The reversing detection cable (④, brown color) should be connected to the red cable (③) extending from the video input cable.
4. The ⑤ cable does not require connection.

4.3. Steering Wheel Controls Setup

For 1G+16G/2G+32G WiFi version:

1. Go to Settings > Car infotainment > SWC.
2. Click "Clear All" first.
3. Then click the icons on the screen. When an icon flashes, press the corresponding button on your steering wheel to match it.
4. After successful learning, the icon's color will change.

For 4G+64G version:

1. Go to Settings > General > Steering Wheel Setting.
2. Press the button on the steering wheel and simultaneously click the button on the screen to match. It will change color after matching.

Note: If your order includes a CANBUS decoder, ensure you set up the CANBUS type in the settings for the steering wheel buttons to function correctly. Contact customer service for assistance if needed.

4.4. Boot Logo Customization (WiFi version)

To change the boot logo:

1. Go to Settings > Car infotainment > Common > Boot logo.
2. Enter password: 5678.
3. You can then select your desired logo.

5.1. User Interface (UI)

The Junsun multimedia player features a customizable UI 4.0, offering a professional design for safe driving. You can switch between day and night modes and customize application icons for a personalized experience.

5.2. Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto

Connect your smartphone to access map navigation, phone contacts, notifications, music, and more directly on the radio display. Use voice commands (Siri/Google Assistant) for hands-free operation.

• V1: Supports wired CarPlay and Android Auto.
• V1 Pro: Supports wireless CarPlay and wired Android Auto.
• V1C: Does not support CarPlay or Android Auto.

5.3. GPS Navigation

The device comes with pre-installed offline maps and offers permanent free updates. When connected to the internet, it supports real-time road conditions. You can use navigation simultaneously with other applications like music playback or DVR functions.

5.4. Online Radio (4G Version)

The 4G version includes an "Online Radio" APP that relies on the internet to search multiple channels, covering stations from over 20 countries, in addition to FM radio.

The AI Voice Software allows you to control various functions using voice commands, such as playing music, navigating, and making calls. This feature helps reduce distractions and increases driving pleasure.

5.7. 4G LTE Connectivity

7. Troubleshooting

Here are some common issues and their solutions:

7.1. GPS Time Not Updating

The device needs to successfully search for satellites the first time it's used to update the time. Ensure the GPS antenna is properly connected and has a clear view of the sky.

7.2. Memory Usage

Please understand that the operating system and pre-installed applications will consume a portion of the device's memory. For example, installing a Russia map may take about 3GB, and a Europe map about 7GB.

7.3. OBD2 Not Working (WiFi version)

To make OBD2 work for the WiFi version:

1. Enter the settings to move the OBD2 icon to the desktop.
2. Then connect normally.
3. If issues persist, go to Settings > Car infotainment > About device.
4. Click the gear icon on the right (it will ask for code 8888).
5. Double-click the menu icon (left icon), it will show in the right box.
6. Save and restart the device.

8. User Tips

• For optimal performance, especially with navigation and online features, consider purchasing a 4G version if you frequently use internet connectivity while driving. This prevents rapid phone battery discharge from using it as a modem.
• Regularly check for UI updates. Junsun provides free updates for Firmware, Software, UI, and GPS Navigation maps.
• Utilize the AI Voice Control feature to minimize manual interaction with the screen, promoting safer driving.
• Experiment with the DSP sound settings (Equalizer, Balance, Delay) to find the audio profile that best suits your preferences and vehicle acoustics.
• If you experience any unexpected behavior, a simple restart of the device can often resolve minor software glitches.
