6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Working Mode Switch

In the measurement interface, if no torque value is displayed, press the M button to switch between the following working modes:

  • Real-time Mode (Track): The displayed torque value changes continuously with the applied force. When force is removed, the display returns to 0.
  • Peak Mode (Peak): After setting a preset value, the display will show the maximum torque achieved during continuous force application. When force is removed, the display records and locks this peak torque value. This value will flash. Press the P/C button to clear the peak torque.
  • Preset Value Mode (Pre): After setting a preset value, the display shows the current torque. As force is applied, the reading increases and decreases with the force. When the target torque is approached, the alarm functions activate.

6.2. Sound and Light Alarm Function

Ensure the buzzer function is enabled (see section 6.9). In preset value mode, as the applied torque approaches 80% of the preset value, the red LED light will flash and the buzzer will sound. As the torque gets closer to the preset value, the flashing and buzzing will become faster. When 100% of the preset value is reached, the red LED light will be continuously on, and the buzzer will sound continuously. The alarms will cease as the torque weakens.
