4. Setup
4.1 Remote Control Battery Installation
The remote control requires 2*AAA batteries (not included). To install:
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote.
- Insert 2 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover.
Caution: Do not touch or press the color ring while loading the batteries to protect its sensitivity. Use the remote controller 3 seconds after the batteries are loaded. Reload the batteries if the color ring is not sensitive.

4.2 Wiring Connection
Ensure all connections are made with the power supply turned OFF.
- Connect the DC12-24V power supply to the controller's input terminals.
- Connect your LED strip to the output terminals of the controller. Ensure correct polarity for R, G, B, W (if applicable), and + terminals.
- For Dual White (FUT022) controllers, connect the Warm White (WW) and Cold White (CW) wires to the corresponding terminals.

4.3 Code Matching (Linking)
For a new kit (remote & controller), the remote needs to be programmed to the controller. You do not need to do this when first out of the box if they are pre-matched.
- Correctly connect the power supply, LED controller, and LED load.
- Switch off the power, then switch it on again.
- Press Key 4 (or the designated 'Link' button) five times within 3 seconds the moment you see the light is on.
- The LED light will blink twice slowly when it is done, indicating successful matching.
4.4 Code Clearing (Unlinking)
The code can be cleared if needed. The kit (remote and controller) will stay in the original state after code clearing. It can work when code rematching is done.
- Correctly connect the power supply, LED controller, and LED load.
- Switch off the power, then switch it on again.
- Long press Key 5 (or the designated 'Unlink' button) five times quickly within 3 seconds the moment you see the light is on.
- The LED light will blink six times swiftly when it is done, indicating successful clearing.

5.3 Advanced Features
Automatic Signal Transmission
One strip controller can transmit signals from the remote control to another controller within 30m. As long as there is a strip controller within 30m, the remote control distance can be limitless.
Automatic Group Synchronization
Different controllers can work synchronously when they are started at different times, provided they are controlled by the same remote and are in the same dynamic mode with the same speed.
Figure 5.7: Diagram illustrating Automatic Signal Transmission and Group Synchronization.
6. Maintenance
- Keep the controller and remote clean by wiping with a dry cloth.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Replace remote control batteries when the remote's sensitivity decreases or it stops responding.
- Ensure proper ventilation for the controller to prevent overheating.
7. Troubleshooting
- LED strip not lighting up:
- Check if the power supply is connected correctly and providing the specified voltage (DC12-24V).
- Verify all wiring connections, especially polarity, between the power supply, controller, and LED strip.
- Ensure the remote control is properly matched (linked) to the controller.
- Check if the remote control batteries are installed correctly and have sufficient power.
- Remote control not responding or low sensitivity:
- Replace the AAA batteries in the remote control.
- Reinstall the batteries, ensuring the color ring is not touched during installation.
- Ensure there are no strong electromagnetic interferences nearby.
- Re-match the remote control to the receiver if necessary.
- Controller not working after power on:
- Ensure the input voltage matches the controller's requirements.
- Check for any short circuits in the wiring.
- Verify that the connection of both the cathode and anode is correct; incorrect connection can damage the controller.
- LED strip colors are incorrect or flickering:
- Check the wiring of the R, G, B, W (if applicable) channels to ensure they are connected to the correct terminals.
- Ensure the remote is set to the correct mode (e.g., RGB mode for RGB strips).
8. User Tips
- For optimal remote performance, avoid placing the controller in enclosed metal casings.
- When installing batteries, be mindful not to press the color ring to maintain its sensitivity.
- If you have multiple controllers, utilize the automatic group synchronization feature for a unified lighting experience.
