3. Setup and Installation
Important: Installation should be performed by a qualified technician or an experienced individual. Incorrect wiring can damage the components or cause injury. Ensure the battery is disconnected before making any connections.
3.1 Wiring Diagram Overview
Refer to the comprehensive wiring diagram below for all connections. Each connector is labeled for clarity.

3.2 Key Connections
- Motor Connections: Connect the three thick wires (Yellow, Green, Blue) from the controller to the corresponding motor phase wires. Connect the smaller Hall sensor wires from the motor to the Hall connector on the controller.
- Battery Connection: Connect the main power wires (Red for positive, Black for negative) from the battery to the Battery connector on the controller.
- Display Connection: Connect the GT100 LCD Display to the dedicated Display connector on the controller.
- Throttle Connection: Connect the throttle unit to the Throttle connector. Note that the throttle on the display and the throttle of the controller cannot operate simultaneously.
- PAS (Pedal Assist System): Connect your PAS sensor to the PAS connector. This system is designed to work optimally with 5 or 6 magnet PAS sensors.
- Brake Connections: Connect your brake levers to the L-brake (Low-level brake) and Linear EABS brake connectors as appropriate for your system.
- Light/Horn Connection: Use the Horn/Lamp +/- connector for your lighting and horn.

3.3 Self-Learning Function
The controller includes self-learn wires to automatically pair with your motor. This function is typically used during initial setup or after replacing a motor. The self-learn function can only be used when the PAS setting is at 2 or higher.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 GT100 LCD Display
The GT100 LCD Display provides real-time information about your electric scooter/e-bike, including speed, battery level, and pedal assist (PAS) gear. It typically features buttons for power, mode selection, and adjusting settings.

4.2 Speed Control
The system offers 1-5 speed settings for both pedal assist and throttle. These settings control the maximum speed and power output. If you require the 1-5 speed settings to apply only to PAS and not the throttle, this must be specified at the time of purchase as it requires a specific configuration.
4.3 Throttle Usage
Engage the throttle to control motor speed directly. Ensure that if your display has a throttle function, it is not used simultaneously with a separate controller throttle, as this can lead to conflicts.
5. Maintenance
- Keep Dry: Protect all electronic components (controllers, display, connectors) from water and excessive moisture.
- Inspect Wiring: Regularly check all wiring and connectors for signs of wear, corrosion, or loose connections. Secure any loose wires.
- Clean Components: Keep the controllers and display clean from dust and debris. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
- Battery Care: Follow the manufacturer's guidelines for your battery's charging and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of the entire system.
6. Troubleshooting
- Motors Not Working / Error Code 10: If your motors are not working or you receive an error code 10, first check all display and motor connections. Ensure they are securely plugged in.
- Strong Electric Brake: If the electric brake feels too strong, there are specific wires on the controller designed to adjust this. Locate these wires (often labeled or indicated in a more detailed wiring diagram) and connect them together to reduce the braking intensity.
- E7 Error: An E7 error typically indicates an issue with the display connection or communication. Verify the display cable is properly connected to the controller.
- Motor Wheel Without Hall Sensors: This controller requires motor Hall sensors to function. It will not work with motor wheels that lack Hall sensors.
- General Malfunction: For any general malfunction, ensure all connections are correct and secure. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
7. User Tips
- Dual Motor Operation: When using two motors, ensure both controllers are correctly connected and communicating with the display. If one motor is not working, check its individual connections and the display connection.
- Single Motor Use: If you intend to use only a single motor with this dual-drive system, you may need to identify and disconnect or cut a specific wire (often a 'green' wire, but verify with a detailed diagram or seller) to disable the second motor channel.
- PAS Customization: If you desire the 1-5 speed settings to exclusively control the Pedal Assist System (PAS) and not the throttle, communicate this requirement to the seller before purchase, as it may involve specific programming or configuration.
- GT100 Display Settings: For advanced settings or troubleshooting specific display parameters (P-settings), consult the seller for the GT100 display manual or specific instructions.
