4. Installation Instructions
Tools Required: A small flat-head screwdriver or a dedicated spring bar tool (not included) is recommended for safe and easy installation.
Steps:
- Remove the old watchband: If replacing an existing band, use a spring bar tool or a small flat-head screwdriver to depress the spring bar on one side of the watch lug. Carefully pull the old band away from the watch case. Repeat this process for the other side of the watchband.
- Prepare the new watchband: Insert the spring bars (either from your old band or new ones if provided) into the small channels on the ends of the new watchband pieces.
- Attach the new watchband: Align one end of a watchband piece with the watch lug. Insert one end of the spring bar into the corresponding lug hole on the watch case. Using the tool, depress the other end of the spring bar and guide it into the opposite lug hole. Ensure the spring bar is securely seated in both holes. Gently tug on the band to confirm it is locked in place and cannot easily detach.
- Repeat for the second watchband piece: Follow step 3 to attach the remaining piece of the watchband to the other set of watch lugs.

5. Care and Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and appearance of your polyurethane watchband, follow these care guidelines:
- Cleaning: Wipe the band regularly with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt and sweat. For deeper cleaning, use mild soap and water, then rinse thoroughly and dry completely with a soft cloth.
- Avoid harsh chemicals: Do not expose the band to strong solvents, detergents, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the material and cause discoloration or degradation.
- Storage: Store your watch in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Prolonged exposure to UV light can cause the material to become brittle or discolored.
- Avoid extreme temperatures: Prolonged exposure to extreme heat or cold can affect the material's integrity and flexibility.
6. Troubleshooting
Common Issues and Solutions:
- Band feels loose or detaches:
- Ensure the spring bars are correctly seated in the watch lugs. A gentle tug should confirm a secure fit.
- Check if the spring bars are bent or damaged. Replace them if necessary (spring bars are typically not included with replacement bands).
- Band appears discolored or stiff:
- This can be a sign of aging or exposure to harsh conditions. Regular cleaning and proper storage as outlined in the 'Care and Maintenance' section can help prevent this.

This watchband is designed as a replacement part. For specific warranty information regarding the watchband itself, please refer to the seller's policy at the time of purchase.
