Easy to Set Up, Easy to Use
- Pairing
- Turn on the shutter by switching the on/off button. AB Shutter3 will enter into pairing mode and indicator LED starts flashing quickly at the same time.
- Activate the Wireless function on your phone and search for devices around.
- Select the device of “AB Shutter3” from the list and pairing will be finished automatically in a few seconds.
- Shooting
- Select a correct APP and press the proper button on the shutter for iOS and Android phones to take photos.

Is iOS 26 supported? I cannot get the AB Shutter3 to connect at all.
According to the manual, the AB Shutter3 is compatible with iOS 6.0 or newer. While iOS 26 does not currently exist (as of current Apple releases), the device should theoretically support newer versions of iOS. If you are unable to connect, please follow these troubleshooting steps:

This issue usually occurs because your smartphone's camera app is configured to use the volume buttons for zooming instead of taking a photo. The AB Shutter3 works by sending a volume up/down signal to your device to trigger the shutter.
To fix this, please follow these steps:
Once this setting is changed, the large button (iOS) and small button (Android) on your AB Shutter3 should correctly trigger the camera shutter. If you are using a third-party camera app that does not support this setting, try using the phone's native camera app.
