    Question

Why is my Mi Watch not tracking sleep even though continuous heart rate monitoring is enabled?

    Answer

If your Mi Watch is not measuring sleep data despite having continuous heart rate monitoring enabled, please check the following steps based on the user manual:

    • Check the Fit: Ensure the watch is worn correctly. It should be comfortably tightened around your wrist, about one-finger width away from your wrist bone. If the strap is too loose, the heart rate sensor may fail to collect the data necessary for sleep tracking.
    • Sensor Contact: Ensure the heart rate sensor area on the back of the watch is clean and in direct contact with your skin.
    • App Sync: Ensure your watch is properly connected to the Xiaomi Wear (Android) or Xiaomi Wear Lite (iOS) app and that your data has synced.
    • Restart the Device: If the issue persists, try a force restart by pressing and holding the Home Button for 15 seconds.
    • Factory Reset: As a last resort, you can restore factory settings by pressing and holding the home button for three seconds while the device is on (or via the system settings menu) and then re-pairing the watch with your phone.

Note: The Mi Watch is not a medical device; data is for reference only.

  2. Can I extend the display time before the screen blacks out

Chaim Seymour asks Can I extend the display time before the screen blacks out
    Manuals+ clarified question
    Question

How can I extend the display screen timeout on the Mi Watch?

    Answer

Yes, you can adjust the screen timeout settings on your Mi Watch. While the basic printed manual does not list every software menu item, you can typically find this setting by following these steps on the watch itself:

    • Press the Home Button (top button) to wake the watch and enter the function list.
    • Navigate to Settings (gear icon).
    • Select Display.
    • Look for Screen Timeout or Auto-lock. From there, you can select a longer duration (e.g., 10 seconds, 20 seconds, etc.) before the screen turns off.

Please note that increasing the display time will result in higher battery consumption. You can also manage additional watch settings through the Xiaomi Wear (Android) or Xiaomi Wear Lite (iOS) app on your smartphone.

    Question

Where can I find the Dutch version of the MI Watch manual?

    Answer

We apologize for the inconvenience. Currently, the manual hosted on this page is the English version for the MI Watch (Model: XMWTCL02). While we work on updating our library, you may be able to find localized documentation through the following official resources:

    • Xiaomi Global Support: You can check the Xiaomi EU Declaration of Conformity page, which often contains links to multi-language safety and user information.
    • Regional Distributor: The manual for this specific distribution was provided by Beryko s.r.o.. You can visit their website at www.beryko.cz and check their "Manuály" (Manuals) section for a Dutch or multi-language PDF.

  4. Please for update timetable Mi Watch?

Hector asks Please for update timetable Mi Watch?
    Manuals+ clarified question
    Question

What is the update timetable for the Mi Watch?

    Answer

The official user manual for the Mi Watch (model XMWTCL02) does not provide a specific timetable for software or firmware updates. Update schedules are typically managed by Xiaomi and released periodically through the companion application.

To check for and receive updates for your Mi Watch, please follow these steps:

    • Connect to the App: Ensure your watch is paired with the Xiaomi Wear (Android) or Xiaomi Wear Lite (iOS) app.
    • Check for Updates: Open the app on your smartphone, navigate to your device settings, and look for a "Firmware Update" or "Check for Updates" option.
    • Automatic Notifications: The app will generally notify you when a new update is available for your device.

For the most current information regarding specific update release dates, it is recommended to check the official Xiaomi Community forums or the Xiaomi Global Support page.

    Manuals+ clarified question
    Question

Why is my Mi Watch not charging or turning on even after being plugged in for over an hour?

    Answer

If your Mi Watch has not been used for a long time and is currently unresponsive, please try the following steps based on the user manual:

    • Initial Charging Delay: If the watch has not been used for a while, it may need to be charged for about 1 minute before the charging icon appears on the display.
    • Clean Contact Points: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the contact points on the back of the watch and the pins on the charging dock. Residual moisture or dirt can prevent a proper connection.
    • Check Power Source: Ensure the charging dock is connected to a standard adapter with an output voltage of 5 V and an output current of 0.5 A or higher.
    • Force Restart: If the watch still does not respond, try to force a restart by pressing and holding the Home Button (the top button) for at least 15 seconds.

If the device remains completely unresponsive after these steps, the battery may have entered a deep discharge state due to long-term storage without use, and you may need to contact Xiaomi support for further assistance.
