Product Usage Instructions

Single Fibre Cleaner Instructions

1. Cleaning cable assemblies in bulkhead adapters:
   • Remove the guide cap from the cleaner
   • Insert the tip of the cleaner into the adapter
2. Cleaning unmated cable assemblies:
   • Push the cleaner into the adapter until the click signals completion
   • Open the cover of the guide cap
   • Insert the connector into the guide cap

Multi-fibre Cleaner Instructions

1. Cleaning cable assemblies in bulkhead adapters:
   • Push the cleaner into the connector until the click signals completion
   • Remove the guide cap and place it on the cap holder
   • Insert the tip of the cleaner into the adapter
2. Cleaning unmated cable assemblies:
   • Push the cleaner into the adapter until the click confirms completion
   • Open the cover of the guide cap
   • Insert the connector into the guide cap
   • Push the cleaner into the connector until the click confirms completion

Cassette Cleaner Instructions

1. Cleaning unmated cable assemblies
   • Take up the winding reel until the new cleaning tape appears in the window in the direction of the arrow
   • Slide the connector while pressing its ferrule end-face against the tape in the direction of the arrow

• The single fibre cleaners are designed to effectively clean various single fibre connectors such as LC/MU, SC/FC/ST/LSH and MDC, both residing in an adapter or fibre optic panel and unmated.
• They feature a novel dry cleaning strand to gently sweep and lift away dust and debris from the connector end face that eliminates the need to use solvents for an effective clean.

Multi-fibre Cleaning Tools

• The multi-fiber cleaning tools are designed for cleaning the MT-based connector systems loaded in a bulkhead adapter, on the card edge, on a backplane and can even be used to clean unmated cable assemblies using the alignment cap.
