Only use the charger provided with the battery. Do not place any object on the charger.
Charging the BH battery at 70-80% is mandatory if not used or stored for a long time period.
Additionally, control the level of the battery charger evevery 3 months and keep it always above 20% charge.
If the battery is in deep sleep mode and in order to wake it up, please charge the battery to 100% capacity.

Is it normal for the battery to disconnect after a minor fall and only reconnect once it is plugged into a charger?
While the manual does not explicitly mention impact-related disconnections, it does describe a "deep sleep" or "protected mode" (modo dormido) that the battery can enter. According to the BH CORE MTB Quick Guide, if the battery enters this state, it is necessary to perform a full charge to 100% capacity to reactivate it.
If your battery disconnects after a light fall, it may be triggering a safety protection circuit. To resolve this and wake the system back up, you must connect it to the original charger. However, if this happens frequently or after very minor vibrations, it could indicate a loose internal connection or a faulty battery mount. You should check that the battery is properly seated and, if the problem persists, contact an authorized BH dealer to inspect the internal connectors for damage caused by the fall.
