Installation Guide
Before we get started:
- Please ensure you have thoroughly read the Quick Safety Guide. It is crucial to fully understand the safety information before proceeding with the installation.
- Ensure a neutral wire is available.
Tools you’ll need
Standard and Philips screwdrivers, pliers,a wire stripper, and a voltage detector.
Turn off the Power
Turn off the power at the circuit breaker that controls the existing roller shutter switch before proceeding.
Remove the Existing Switch
Carefully remove the plastic faceplate and unscrew the existing roller shutter switch from the electrical box. Gently pull the switch outward, taking care to avoid touching any exposed wires.
Double-check the Power
Use a voltage detector to carefully check the wires connected to the existing switch, ensuring they are inactive before proceeding.
Label and Prepare the Wires
Label the wires as shown in the diagram, then loosen, straighten,and strip approximately 1 cm of insulation from each wire.
Connect the Wires
Insert the wires into the corresponding terminal holes and securely fasten them. If there are two Neutral wires, twist them together before inserting them into the N terminal.
Mounting the Power Base
Place the panel with the “TOP” label facing upwards. Position the Power Base in the flush-mounted socket and secure it using the provided screws.
Mounting the Frame
Position the supplied or your existing frame over the power unit.
Mounting the Control Module
Insert the Control Module, ensuring that the pins ore properly aligned. Secure the device using the provided screws.
Turn on Circuit Breaker
Turn on the power at the circuit breaker that controls the smart roller shutter switch.
Pairing the Device
Follow the instructions in the “Setup the Device” section to complete the device pairing. Complete the device setup before attaching the Button Housing, as the LEO indicator will no longer be visible once the cover is in place.
Mounting the Button Housing
Align the snaps and gently press the button housing onto the control module. avoiding excessive force to prevent damage to the casing.
Set up the device
- Download the Meross opp.
- Connect your smartphone or tablet to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Launch the Meross opp and log in to your account, or if you are a new user, tap Sign up to create a new account.
- Tap the “+” icon to select the type of smart device you wont to add, then you can just follow the setup wizard to finish configuration.
- Relocation of the smart device does not require additional operations provided that it remains on the same network with strong Wi-Fi signal.
NOTE:
- If this is not the first time you’ve added this smart device, you’ll have to reset it before going any further.
- You con use a Motter-enabled third-party platform to configure the device.

Auto Calibration
Auto Calibration is a feature that enhances the operation of your device by ensuring the roller shutter operates accurately and efficiently. This process automatically detects and sets the top and bottom limits of the roller shutter, enabling precise percentage-based control of the shutter’s position.
Note:
- After successful setup, the device will automatically enter Auto Calibration mode. You con also manually trigger it by pressing and holding both UP and DOWN buttons for 5 seconds.
- Auto calibration may take 1-2 minutes. Please do not turn off your motor.
- Without calibration, the roller shutter will only support fully open or fully closed operations. without the ability to adjust to percentage levels.
- If the automatic calibration is inaccurate, you con manually adjust it using the Up/Down time duration parameter.

- Hey Siri, increase roller shutter.
- Hey Siri, raise roller shutter.
- Hey Siri, set roller shutter to 50%.
Alexa:
- Alexa. roller shutter up.
- Alexa, turn off the roller shutter.
- Alexa, set roller shutter to 50%.
Google Assistant:
- Hey Google, turn on the roller shutter.
- Hey Google. close the roller shutter.
- Hey Google, set roller shutter to 50%.
Add Matter Device to Multiple Platforms (Multi-Admin)
There is one of the core features in the Matter protocol called Multi-Admin, it provides for simultaneous operation in multiple smart home systems. What should I do when I can’t open or close the roller shutter switch manually?
Please remove the button housing and check the Status LED. If the LED is off:
- Make sure that you restore power to the Roller Shutter Switch at the circuit breaker.
- Make sure the Roller Shutter Switch is wired correctly. Please consult with a qualified electrician.
What if I can’t control the smart device with the Meross app?
You can troubleshoot the following:
- Check if your home Wi-Fi is working properly.
- Make sure that you have disabled access control in your router and that the smart device is not blocked by the router’s firmware.
- Factory reset your smart device and try to add it again.
