QUICK SETUP GUIDE

Power On

1. Connect the power adapter. (As shown in the figure)
2. Press and hold the Power Button for about 3 seconds until the indicator light turns on.

Load Labels

1. Press the Cover Release Button to open the lid.
2. Insert the label with the print side facing UP.
3. Adjust the label guides to match the width of your labels.
4. Pull the label lead through the output slot and close the lid.

Perform Intelligent Calibration (Required for first use or after changing labels)

1. Ensure at least 4 consecutive labels are loaded.
2. Press and hold the Feeder Button for about 3 seconds until you hear a single beep, then release.
3. The printer will automatically identify the label and calibrate itself.

Note：

• The printer will only print to the top side of the paper; make sure the paper is installed with the label side facing up to avoid printing blank sheets.
• If the paper feeds abnormally, open the cover and leave some of the paper sticking out of the printer before closing the cover.
• Please check the paper guide if your labels are badly misaligned. Make sure it’s properly seated against the edge of your paper to ensure accurate printing.
• Avoid poor-quality labels as they can damage the printer.

CONNECT TO COMPUTER

Windows Setup

USB connection

1. Run the USB driver installation file and follow the on-screen instructions to install.
2. Click “Install” and follow the on-screen instructions.
3. Click “Next” and “Finish” to complete the driver installation.

Bluetooth connection

1. Run the Bluetooth driver installation file and follow the on-screen instructions to install.
2. Click “Install” and follow the on-screen instructions.
3. Click”Install the printer driver,” then click”Next”.
4. Go to Settings – Devices – Bluetooth and other devices – Add a Bluetooth device or other device – Bluetooth – PL50E, click Pair.
5. Select “Bluetooth” and then click “Next”.
6. Select “PL50E” and then click “Next”.
7. Driver installation complete. Click “Close”.

Go to Settings > Printers &Scanners > Select “PL50E” or “PL50E Label” > Click Printing Preferences.

• To set your default paper size: select the desired option in the paper settings and click OK. Your choice will be set as the new default.
• Page Setup: Adjust paper size, print speed, darkness, and orientation.

Halftone: Change the image dithering algorithm for clearer image or barcode printing.

MacOS Setup

1. Run the LabelPrinter-Mac-Driver-Latest.pkg file and follow the on-screen instructions to install.
2. Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners and add “PL50E Label”.
3. When printing, in the print dialog, select the paper size that matches your labels (or manage custom sizes).
   • Printer Features: Adjust speed, darkness, and rotation.
   • Crucially, click “Save Current Settings as Preset…” to save your preferences.

ChromeOS Setup

1. Search for and add the “Flashlabel” extension from the Chrome Web Store.
2. Click the extension icon -> Select “FlashLabel” -> Click “Add” -> Choose “PL50E” -> Click “Connect”.
3. Open a PDF file in the Chrome Browser, choose “PL50E” and your paper size, then click “Print”.

Connect the Printer:
Enable Bluetooth and open the Labelnize app.

1. Tap [Unconnected] in the app, then locate and select your [PL50E] device to pair.
2. Before printing, ensure your paper size is selected. If your required size is not listed, please create a custom paper size.
3. Tap [Document printing] on the home screen and select the file you need to print.
4. Use the editing toolbar to rotate and edit to the file.
5. Set print density and copies at the top, then click [Print] to start printing.
6. There are a lot of preset templates available for use. Please click [System templates] on the home page.

USER TIPS & MAINTENANCE

User Tips

• When loading labels, the adhesive side (peeling side) must face up, or it will print blank.
• Ensure the label surface is free of dust and particles to avoid damaging the Thermal Printhead (TPH).
• Windows users should use the same USB port on the computer to avoid creating duplicate printer drivers.
• If labels feed continuously, press the Feeder Button once to pause, and clear the print job from your computer.
• If white spots appear on prints, the printhead needs cleaning.
• If a paper jam occurs, open the cover and gently remove the jammed labels.

Printhead Cleaning

• Ensure the printer is powered OFF and has cooled down completely.
• Press the Cover Release Button to open the lid.
• Gently wipe the thermal printhead with a dedicated  Printer Head Cleaning Wipe. (The printhead position is shown in the figure.)

Warning: Do not use water, alcohol, or other liquids directly on the printhead.

• DO NOT touch the printhead after use, as it can be hot.
• DO NOT disassemble or attempt to repair the unit yourself.
• USE ONLY approved accessories.
• Keep the device away from water, fire, and children.
• Unplug the power adapter when not in use for an extended period.
