Fabrics & Notions
Suggested Fabrics
- Main & Lining Fabrics Light to mid-weight cottons, linens, chambrays, and blends work well for this jacket. Since the fabric will be doubled and quilted to a batting avoid anything too heavy as the jacket may become excessively stiff. Extra fabric may be needed to match plaids, stripes, and directional prints.
- Batting High quality batting in cotton, wool, bamboo, or a blend. Choose the thickness based on how warm you want your coat to be.

- 5 yds of 1/2″ double fold bias binding (or 1/2 yd extra fabric to make your own)
- Fusible interfacing
- View A: 4 coat hooks & eyes
- View B: 4 heavy duty snaps
