GBros Adapter Instruction
- Wired GameCube controller, wired NES Classic controller, wired SNES Classic controller, wired Wii Classic controller
- Third party controller with the same controller port
Switch
1. Put the adapter on its S mode,gently pressthe home button to turn it on. LED will start to blink
2. Press pair button for2 seconds to enter its pairing mode. LED will start to rapidly blink
3. Go to your Switch Home Page to click on Controllers, then click on Change Grip/Order to pair with the adapter 4 – LED will become solid when connection is successful
- Star button= Switch screenshot button, home button= Switch home button
Windows
1. Put the adapter on its X mode, gently press the home button to turn it on. LED will start to blink
2. Press pair button for 2 seconds to enter its pairing mode. LED will start to rapidly blink
3. Go to your Windows device’s Bluetooth setting, pair with [8BitDo GBros Adapter]4. LED will become solid when connection is successful
Turbo Functionality
1. Hold the button you would like to set turbo functionality to, press the star button on GBros. to activate/deactivate the functionality
- Analog sticks and Dpad are not included
- This does not apply to Switch
Hotkey Feature
Press and hold L + R +A+ B + START to swap button mapping option between GameCube (green LED indication) and Switch Pro (red LED indication)
Battery
- Two AA batteries with 30 hours of playtime
- Auto shut down -1 minute with no connection

FAQ – Frequently Asked Question
It works with Nintendo GameCube controller, NES Classic controller, SNES Classic controller and most controllers with GC port or NES/SNES Classic port.
No, you can not. The reason is simply because the physical shape of Wavebird controller port does not fit in either of the ports on GBros.
However, you can use an extension cable to connect them to each other, as they are compatible with each other technologically.
No, you can not. It can only take one controller at a time.
No, it will be recognized as Switch Pro controller by default.
Just press and hold L+R+A+B+START to swap the button mapping between GameCube mapping and Switch Pro mapping when playing Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Green LED indicates GameCube mapping. Red LED indicates Switch Pro mapping.
It functions as Dpad as it is.
The functions this adapter supports when connected to Switch include:
A. Screenshot = STAR button
B. Home button = Logo button
Turbo and NFC are not applicable here. You can not wake up your Switch wirelessly via GBros.
Nonetheless, when it is connected to Windows 10, it supports Turbo function.
STAR button = Turbo button
The USB port here is for firmware upgrade. You can also connect it to Switch and Windows 10 via a USB cable and use it as a wired adapter.
When it is connected to devices via USB, batteries are not needed.
New batteries can last for approximately 30 hours. Nonetheless, it really depends the battery capacity and quality.
You can connect multiple GBros. to your Switch at a time. Switch will see the controllers as Switch Pro controllers.
It works on both hand held and docked modes.
