Product Usage Instructions

  • Follow the provided installation guide to set up the two-way radio properly. Ensure all components are securely connected.
  • To power on the device, press and hold the power button until the indicator light turns on. To power off, repeat the same step until the indicator light goes off.
  • Use the channel selector to choose the desired communication channel. Refer to the user manual for information on channel frequencies.
  • To communicate, press the designated talk button while speaking and release it when done. Ensure clear communication by avoiding obstructions.
  • When the battery is low, connect the radio to the charger provided. Allow sufficient time for a full charge before unplugging.

Carefully unpack the transceiver. We recommend that you identify the items listed in the following table before discarding the packing material. If an item is missing or has been damaged during shipment, file a claim with the carrier immediately!

Charging the Battery Pack.

  • Please charge your battery only with an approved charger.
  • Initially, charging the battery pack after purchase or extended storage ( more than 2 months) will not bring the battery pack to its normal operating capacity.
  • After repeating the charge/discharge cycle two or three times, the operating capacitance will increase to a normal level.

Please charge the battery pack as follows

  1. Insert the battery adapter TYPE-C socket in the rear of the battery. Slide the battery pack or transceiver with battery pack into the 110-220V desktop charger.
  2. The charging LED lights red, and charging begins. When the light turns green, it means the  battery pack is fully charged. Remove the power adapter AC plug from The AC power output socket.
  3.  You can charge the battery with the desktop charger. The charger indicator light is green when finished charging.

Kind remind

Please use the battery, ensure it the charging. The extent of the battery’s life. Charge the battery in the temperature range of 5-40°C, outside this range, the battery will not be fully charged. Turn off the power when charging the battery. Do not remove the battery cover by yourself. You had better not touch the plug or battery, otherwise it will interfere with the charging process. The battery’s usage time is not increase even when fully charged, which means the battery’s life I finished. Please replace the battery. The battery should not be exposed to temperatures above 60°C.

Warning

  • Do not put the battery into a fire or a strong external impact, otherwise it will be possible to cause an explosion or harm the human body.
  • In any case, the battery electrode terminal cannot be short-circuited.
  • Please use the dry towel to wipe the battery surface, and the battery is not recommended to be put (or whole) beside the key or have metal in the pocket or wallet.

Care and Cleaning

To guarantee optimal performance as well as a long service life of your radio, please follow he tips below.

  • Do not pierce or scrape the radio with any edged instruments or hard objects.
  • Keep the radio far away from substances that can corrode the electronic circuit.
  • Do not hold the radio by its antenna or headset cable directly.
  • Attach the accessory jack cover when the radio is not in use.
  • Clean up the dust and spot particles on the radio surface and charging piece with a clean and dry lint-free cloth or a brush regularly.

Accessory Installing/Removing

  1. Installing the Battery Pack
    1. The battery of the metal surface connects with the transceiver connector. Then gently push the battery; you will hear a “click” sound, and the battery is installed.
  2. Removing the Battery Pack
    1. Power off the transceiver first, then press down on the back of the radio and push the battery back to remove the battery pack.
  3. Installing the Belt Clip
    1. Fix the transceiver and screw the belt clip from the back of transceiver, turning it clockwise until secure.
  4. Removing the Belt Clip
    1. Counter clockwise the screw from the back of transceiver, until remove.
  5. Installing/Removing external
    1. Earphones: Pull the headphone/microphone cover and insert the headphone/microphone into the socket.
  6. Installing Hand Strap
    Pass the transceiver strap through the middle ring of the transceiver back cover.

Power On / Off

  • Clockwise rotation [Power key] to turn on the radio; Counterclockwise rotation [Power key] to turn off the radio. If the SIM card has not been inserted or is not registered, the radio will remind” please insert the card “.

* Adjusting the Volume
In standby mode, you can increase the volum,e by turning the [volume knob] clockwise, and de crease the volume by turning the [volume knot] counterclockwise.

Group Selection Operation

  • In standby mode, press the [Menu] key to enter the menu mode; click the [Group] to enter the group selection operation, and press [Up/ Down] key to choose a different group, then press [Menu] key to confirm the enter the group chosen. Long-press [Exit key] to exit.

  • In standby mode, press [Menu] key to enter the menu mode; click the [Member]-[Members] to enter the member selection operation, press [Up/Down] key to choose different members, then press [Menu] key to confirm the entry. Long-press [Exit key] to exit the current operation.
  • Enter [Group Members], search for online members, use the [Up] and [Down keys to have a conversation with friends in the list, and exit related operations. Long-press [Exit key] to exit.
  • Enter [Friend Members ] and search for online friends. Use the [Up] and [Down] keys to have a conversation with friends in the list and exit related operations. Long-press [Exit key] to exit.
  • Go to [Dispatcher] and select the desired dispatcher. Use the [Up] and [Down keys to converse with friends in the list.
  • Settings
    • In standby mode, Press the Menu key to enter menu mode, then click the [settings], and press the [Up/Down] key to choose different settings. Long-press [Exit key] to exit the current operation.
  • Different settings
    • Screen: Short press [Menu] to turn on/ off the radio screen.
    • Indicator Light: Short-press [Menu] to turn on/ off the indicator.
    • Keyslight: Short press [Menu] to turn on/off keypad light.
    • TTS broadcast: Short press [Menu] to turn on/Off TTS broadcast.
  • Audio Setting
    • Sound quality setting: [Standard sound quality] type and [High definition sound quality] type are available.
  • Scene Mode
    • Indoor mode and outdoor mode are. available.
  • Prompt tone setting
    • Enter the [Prompt tone level], choose level 0-6 by [Up] and [Down] keys.
  • Language
    • Short press [Menu] to chooser[ Chinese] or [English].
  • Time Zone Setting
    • Enter the [Time zone setting], choose the time zone you need by [Up] and [Down] keys, then Press [Menu] to confirm.
  • Backlight time
    • Set up backlight time by [Up] and [Down key, then Press [Menu] to confirm.
  • Backlight brightness
    • Adjust the brightness of the screen from level 1-8 by the [Up] and [Down] keys.
  • Power Saving Settings
    • [Normal mode] or [Saving mode] is available.
  • Network Setting
    • Choose the relevant network type according to the actual needs.
  • SIM Card Switching
    • Switch the SIM card by [Up] and [Down] keys, then short-press [Menu] to confirm.
  • Firmware Upgrade
    • Firmware upgrade operation.
  • Information of the Unit
  • In standby mode, click the [Menu] key to enter the menu mode; click[Host Info], and there are [User Info],[Firmware],[Version], [Positioning] in this menu. Press [Menu] key to confirm.

Enter Transmitting Status

Press the [PTT] key, the red indicator light is on, and speak into the microphone with a normal voice when the ‘DI’ sound is heard. Please keep your mouth 3-5 cm away from the microphone to get the best voice quality.

Enter Receiving Status

  • When the channel is called, the green indicator light will be on. Please release the [PTT] key to receive the call.

Low Electric Prompt Function

  • When the battery voltage is too low, the voice broadcast ‘power is insufficient’. When the battery power is too low, the interphone will shut down automatically to protect the module

Other Operations

Long press[Function key 1] to broadcast current User name/Group name/Battery electricity percentage. Short press[Function key 1] to turn on/off
screen backlight.
