Pc Cables

This section helps you correctly connect the internal cables shown in the chassis to your motherboard or controller. The components visible include:

• a. Fan wires
  
• b. Mini-SAS cables
  
• c. Power switch cable
  

1. Fan Wires:
   Connect each fan wire to the corresponding FAN headers on the motherboard:
   • Use SYS_FAN, CHA_FAN, or FAN1, FAN2, etc., as labeled on your motherboard.
2. Power Switch Cable:
   • Plug this into the motherboard Front Panel Header:
   • Look for labels like F_PANEL, PANEL1, or similar.
   • Connect to the PWR SW pins (polarity does not matter for switch).
   • Most often located at the bottom-right of the motherboard.
     Note: Make sure to leave space for reset switch, HDD LED, and power LED if those are also in use.
3. Mini-SAS (SFF-8087) Cables:
   Connect the Mini-SAS cables to one of the following, depending on your system setup:
   • A RAID controller card
   • An HBA (Host Bus Adapter) card
   • A motherboard with integrated Mini-SAS ports

Power Distribution Board

Only for buyers who purchased the chassis and backplane (without PSU):

Customer Support

Connect the midplane to the power supply unit using a 4-pin female Molex to midplane cable.
