INSTRUCTIONS

1. Pop out the bottom of the popcorn maker to put it in its upright position.
2. Pour popcorn kernels into the popper. Fill to the bottom measurement line (approximately ¼ cup) for a half bowl of popcorn or to the upper line (approximately 1/3 cup) for a full bowl of popcorn. Be sure to not fill the kernels above the upper line!
3. As desired, add 1-2 tsp. of oil to the kernels before cooking, and shake to evenly distribute over the kernels. Adding more than 1-2 tsp. before cooking may scorch your popper. For best-popping results, cook the popcorn without any oil or seasonings.
4. Put the lid inside the bowl, making sure to not push it down and create a vacuum. A vacuum will prevent your popcorn from cooking properly and could cause it to burn.
5. Cook in your microwave on high heat for 2-4 minutes, depending on the wattage of your microwave. You can also use the popcorn button on your microwave. Cook until the popping slows to approximately 2-3 seconds apart.
6. Remove the popper from the microwave using the safety handles. Please note that the handles will be hot and if needed, use oven mitts to remove the popper from the microwave.
7. The lid and popcorn will be hot! Use caution to remove the lid from the popper and add seasonings and oil as desired. Hold the handles to toss the popcorn to spread your seasonings.

TIPS

1. We have found the best way to season popcorn is with an oil spray. Butter-flavored cooking sprays work well.
2. Only cook popcorn kernels in your popper. Other grains or items may cause burning.
3. If you burn your popcorn and have a scorch mark on your popper, clean it with a solution of equal parts vinegar and water to remove the scorch.
4. If some of the kernels do not pop, you can remove the popped kernels and cook the remaining kernels to pop them.
5. High altitudes may cause changes in cooking times.
6. Your popper is dishwasher safe.
