INSTALLING FEET
TIP: If you want to wall-mount the device, do not install feet and move on to the “WALL MOUNTING” section.
Necessary tools (not supplied):
Screwdriver. - Put the unit on a table covered with a soft cloth or towel in such a way as to have its bottom part stick out a bit over the edge. Alternatively, while holding it up, put the unit vertically, upside down.
- Screw in the feet using the 8 supplied short screws. The orientation of the feet does not matter.
- Carefully put the heater on the installed feet and make sure it is stable. If the heater is loose, screw the feet in tighter.
WALL MOUNTING
IMPORTANT:
Measure mounting holes so that they are at least 450 mm from the floor and at least 1100 mm from the ceiling/other things mounted on the wall. Do not mount the heater around very combustible things such as window covers, curtains etc.
Necessary tools (not supplied):- Drill
- 6 mm size drill bit appropriate for the given surface
- Hammer
- Screwdriver
- Prepare mounting holes according to the schematic shown in illustration A. The holes should be 40 mm deep.
- Push the wall plugs into the prepared holes. If they resist heavily, use the hammer. The plugs should be even with the wall. If the holes are too tight, take out the wall plugs, and drill the holes out a little using a larger drill bit.
- Screw in two mounting plates using the 6 long screws in the orientation shown in illustration B. If, after screwing in, one of the screws is loose due to a too large hole, take it out, apply some chemical anchor into the hole and quickly push the wall plug back in and screw the piece back in. If you used chemical anchor, an appropriate amount of time specified by its manufacturer has to elapse before commencing further steps.
- Put the unit on a table covered with a soft cloth or towel in such a way as to have its bottom part stick out a bit over the edge. Alternatively, while holding it up, put the unit vertically, upside down.
- Screw the two remaining mounting plates to the mounting holes on each side of the bottom of the heater using 4 small screws. The correct orientation of the plate is shown in illustration C.
- Hang the heater on the mounting plates in such a way as to slide its openings into the grooves on the plates. Afterwards, slide it to the right until you meet resistance, so that it lodges in its final position.
