Operating Your ORICO RAID Enclosure

This guide outlines two primary methods for managing your ORICO RAID Hard Drive Enclosure: operation via software and manual operation.

01 Operate by Software

The ORICO HW RAID Manager software provides a comprehensive tool to easily customize various hard disk storage modes and facilitate management. You can download the software from the ORICO Website.

System Compatibility: USB 3.2 Gen 1

02 Operate by Manual

It is simple and convenient to operate the array switch located on the back of the hard disk cabinet. This method is plug and play, with instructions provided.

System Compatibility: Windows/mac OS

RAID Mode Information and Warning

⚠️ WARNING: Please back up all data before changing RAID mode.

The enclosure supports several RAID modes, illustrated below:

RAID 0
RAID 1/10
RAID 3
RAID 5
Combine
Clear-RAID

The RAID management software is not supported for Mac 11 or above and Linux systems. For these systems, you will need to manually group RAID. For detailed instructions, please refer to the guidelines or contact customer service.
