These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: –
(RF) Exposure Guidelines
This equipment compiles with FCC/IC radiation exposure limits set forth for uncontrolled equipment and meets the FCC radio frequency (RF) Exposure Guidelines in Supplement C to OET65 and RSS-102 of the IC radio frequency (RF) Exposure rules. This equipment has very low levels of RF energy that it deemed to comply without maximum permissive exposure evaluation (MPE). But it is desirable that it should be installed and operated with at least 20 cm and more between the radiator and person’s body (excluding extremities: hands, wrists, feet and ankles). This transmitter must not be co-located or operated in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.
It has a sleep timer than can turn the radio off after 30, 45, or 60 minutes. It is invoked by a simple touch of the snooze button and it even disconnects your Bluetooth when it shuts off. For me this pauses my phone’s playback so I don’t waste bandwidth or lose my place in my audio book.
Not sure what you mean by “loud”, but I always set the alarm through my iPhone app. The Bluetooth needs to be activated through its dedicated button for this to work.
The unit has auto-dim and adjusts when dark, then back to normal when light. Note: I mention in a prior post that Yamaha does not support/update their Apple app.
off course, you can use it with out a phone. It’s really good
Thank you for your inquiry. The Yamaha TSX-B72DR is only offered in 110V. Please let me know if I can be of any additional assistance.
Yes you snooze the alarm and get a few more minutes of sleep
Yes, you can plug your phone or computer in via a 3.5mm headphone style jack. The sound would be pretty good for that purpose, but you would not get as much stereo separation as separate speakers on either side of your computer if you care about that.
there is no headphone jack.
By apps on smart phone. No come with remote
Yes, it works with 220V
my unit only works with 110v
Actually, yes it does have a builtin backup battery that saves the clock time and radio presets in a power outage.
There is no headphone output on this unit. This is a fantastic sounding Desktop unit. World Wide Stereo is 37 years old and a very proud Yamaha dealer.
