    Question

How do I connect the XGP intercom to a Can-Am Spyder F3S 2025 interface, and is it compatible?

    Answer

To connect your XGP intercom to a vehicle interface like the Can-Am Spyder, you must put the device into pairing mode. According to the manual, follow these steps:

    • Enter Pairing Mode: With the unit powered on, hold the Power button for 3 seconds. You should hear a voice prompt saying "pairing" and the light will flash red and blue alternately.
    • Vehicle Connection: Once the XGP is in pairing mode, search for Bluetooth devices on your Can-Am Spyder interface and select the XGP unit. The manual notes the device can simultaneously connect to two Bluetooth devices.
    • Factory Reset: If the connection continues to fail, you can perform a factory reset by holding the Volume "+" and Volume "-" buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds while the device is on. The red and blue lights will flash for 1 second, and the device will restart in pairing mode.

Regarding compatibility, the XGP uses standard Bluetooth protocols and features a Universal Pairing mode (holding the Intercom button for 2 seconds) designed to work with other brands, which typically extends to vehicle infotainment systems. If the vehicle recognizes the device but fails to complete the handshake, ensure no other previously paired phones are actively connected to the intercom during the initial setup.
