  • Avoid touching the metal casing as it heats up during operation. Keep the heater away from children to prevent the risk of burns. Allow the heater to cool down for a few minutes before packing it away.
  • If you are not using the heater for an extended period, disconnect it from the power outlet.
  • Before turning on the heater, ensure that no part of it is damaged. If the casing, heating element, cord, or plug is damaged,do not connect the heater to power.
  • Always unplug the power cord before moving or cleaning the heater. When disconnecting the device from the power source, first turn off the heater, then unplug it. Do not pull on the power cord.

SAFETY RULES

ATTENTION!
Please read this before installing and using the device with the user manual. Keep it, and if you pass the heater on to someone else, give it along with the instructions.Due to the ongoing work to improve the quality of the product, changes may be made to the product design, which are not included in this manual, but do not impair the product’s performance characteristics. The l test version of the manual, including any changes, is available at www.warmtec.pl.

  • Open the packaging, remove the heater and check that the supplied accessories and the heater are complete and intact.
  • After installing the device according to the instructions, connect the heater to the power supply (the plug must be the same as an electrical socket). Socket requirements and power supply: ~230 V, frequency 50 Hz.
  • The heater is intended for indoor use. Don’t use it outdoors!
  • Do not leave the heater unattended during use. Hold the heater out of reach of children. Use all automatic device settings with care. A heater left unattended may operate automatically.
  • Keep a safe distance from flammable and explosive materials to avoid fire or explosion.
  • It is strictly forbidden to insert elements into the housing and the protective grid of the heater. It may cause electric shock.
  • Do not touch the metal housing as it becomes hot during operation. Keep the heater away from children to avoid the risk of burns. Before turning off the device, wait several minutes for the heater to cool down, in order to safely put it in the package.
  • If you are not going to use the heater for a long time, disconnect the plug from the socket.
  • Before switching on the heater, make sure that any element of the heater is not damaged. In case of damage to the housing, heater, cord or plug, the heater must not be connected to the power supply.
  • Always disconnect the power plug when moving or cleaning the heater. When disconnecting the device from the mains, first turn off the heater, then disconnect the plug. Do not tug on the power cord.
  • It is strictly forbidden to unscrew the heater yourself. In the event of damage to the heater, contact WARMTEC service for assistance.
  • The product is intended for home use.
  • Do not touch the surface of the heater when the device is on or has recently been turned off – risk of burns.
  • Children under the age of 8 are not allowed to use the device. The device can be used by children from 8 years of age and older and by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities, as well as people with no experience and knowledge, provided they have been given supervision or instruction to operate the device safely and understand the hazards involved. Children should not play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance of the device must not be performed by children.
  • Do not share the socket with other electrical devices. There is a risk of fire due to excessive load.
  • ATTENTION! DO NOT cover the heater or block the ventilation openings in the heater grilles.
  • The heater must not be placed directly under an electrical socket.
  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
  • Avoid using an extension cord as it may overheat and cause a fire.
  • Never place the heater where it could fall into the bathtub or other water container. Do not use this heater in the immediate vicinity of a bathtub, shower or swimming pool. Please note that electrical devices with the degree of protection IP24 can only be installed in zone 3 – (60 cm from the edge of the shower or the edge of the bathtub).
  • Children under the age of 3 should be kept away from the appliance unless they are constantly supervised.
  • ATTENTION! Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns.
    Particular attention should be paid to children and vulnerable people.
  • This heater is not equipped with a temperature control device in the room. Do not use this heater in small rooms with people who cannot leave the room on their own unless they are supervised.

Assembling the feet

  1. Take out the device and all accessories from the factory packaging.
  2. Place the heater on a soft surface, upside down.
  3. Fasten the legs to the heater with screws and a screwdriver.

Mounting the bracket to the wall

Make sure there are no cables or pipes in the wall before drilling into the wall.

Mounting the heater to the bracket
Tilt the heater so that the lower holes are aligned with the P1 bracket and put the bottom holes on the bracket. Then, tilt the upper part of the heater until the holes enter the bracket P2, lower the heater down and fasten the locking catch on the heater.

OPERATION

Switching the heater on and off
Press the buttonWarmtec-EWE-Plus-1-Convector-Heater-FIG- (19) to turn on the heater. Press the same button again to turn off the heater.
Setting the time and day of the week
Set the time and day of the week before using the heater. To start setting the time, enter programmable mode by pressing the button Warmtec-EWE-Plus-1-Convector-Heater-FIG- (15) until programmable mode is activated (letter P on the display). Then press the buttonWarmtec-EWE-Plus-1-Convector-Heater-FIG- (18) on the screen the day of the week will flash. Use the buttons Warmtec-EWE-Plus-1-Convector-Heater-FIG- (14)/Warmtec-EWE-Plus-1-Convector-Heater-FIG- (16) to set the current day. Then press the button Warmtec-EWE-Plus-1-Convector-Heater-FIG- (18)and use the buttonsWarmtec-EWE-Plus-1-Convector-Heater-FIG- (14) /Warmtec-EWE-Plus-1-Convector-Heater-FIG- (16) to set the hour. Pressing the button again starts the minute setting, which you can change with the buttons Warmtec-EWE-Plus-1-Convector-Heater-FIG- (14)/Warmtec-EWE-Plus-1-Convector-Heater-FIG- (16).
Confirm the settings by pressing the button Warmtec-EWE-Plus-1-Convector-Heater-FIG- (18).

Heater operating modes

The EWE+ heater has two modes: manual and programmable. Manual mode is available in three variants:
comfort – the heater heats the room according to the set temperature, economy – the heater heats the room to a temperature 3°C lower than that set in the comfort variant, frost-free- the heater does not allow the temperature to drop indoors below 5°C.

Temperature setting

The default temperature shown on the display is the temperature in the room. You can set the heating temperature with the buttons Warmtec-EWE-Plus-1-Convector-Heater-FIG- (14)/Warmtec-EWE-Plus-1-Convector-Heater-FIG- (16) . The temperature setting range is 12-42°C in economy mode and 15°C-45°C in comfort mode. In the antifreeze variant, the temperature cannot be changed.

ATTENTION!

If you change the temperature in the comfort variant, the temperature in the economic variant is automatically changed, which is always 3°C lower than the temperature in the comfort variant. And vice versa, if you change the temperature in the economy variant, the temperature in the comfort variant is automatically changed.

Timer
Press the buttonWarmtec-EWE-Plus-1-Convector-Heater-FIG- (15) to run the selected manual mode (comfort, economy, antifreeze). Then press the button Warmtec-EWE-Plus-1-Convector-Heater-FIG- (18) and use the button: Warmtec-EWE-Plus-1-Convector-Heater-FIG- (14) /Warmtec-EWE-Plus-1-Convector-Heater-FIG- (16) andWarmtec-EWE-Plus-1-Convector-Heater-FIG- (18) to set the time until the mode is turned off (the so-called timer). Confirm the setting with the buttonWarmtec-EWE-Plus-1-Convector-Heater-FIG- (18) . After the set time has elapsed, the heater will turn off. If you do not set the timer and leave at 00:00, the heater will run continuously in the selected mode.

Programmable mode setting
Press the button Warmtec-EWE-Plus-1-Convector-Heater-FIG- (15) to enter programmable mode (P.), then press the button Warmtec-EWE-Plus-1-Convector-Heater-FIG- (17) The programmable mode icon (letter P) will flash on the device display. Use the button Warmtec-EWE-Plus-1-Convector-Heater-FIG- (15) to select the temperature (comfort, economic, antifreeze) you want to assign to a given hour. Using the buttons Warmtec-EWE-Plus-1-Convector-Heater-FIG- (14) / Warmtec-EWE-Plus-1-Convector-Heater-FIG- (16) you can select the hour to which you assign the given temperature. Once you have assigned temperatures to all hours of the day, press the button to Warmtec-EWE-Plus-1-Convector-Heater-FIG- (18) assign temperatures to the next day. Each program has a corresponding indication on the timeline:

Child lock

Press and hold the button Warmtec-EWE-Plus-1-Convector-Heater-FIG- (19) to activate the child lock. Press and hold the button Warmtec-EWE-Plus-1-Convector-Heater-FIG- (19)to turn off the child lock. The function works both in standby mode and when the heater is on.

Open window function

Press and hold the button Warmtec-EWE-Plus-1-Convector-Heater-FIG- (15) to activate the open window function. The activation of the function is confirmed by displaying the icon Warmtec-EWE-Plus-1-Convector-Heater-FIG- (24) on the device’s display. To disable the open window function, press and hold the button Warmtec-EWE-Plus-1-Convector-Heater-FIG- (15) The operation of the open window function is if the temperature in the room drops by 5°C within 20 minutes, the heater will stop heating and the icon Warmtec-EWE-Plus-1-Convector-Heater-FIG- (24) will flash on the display. To restore the heater’s operation, press and hold the button Warmtec-EWE-Plus-1-Convector-Heater-FIG- (15) . After a while, the open window icon will stop flashing and the heater will operate in the mode before the function was activated.

Activation of the standby mode for connection with Wi-Fi
Connecting the heater to the mobile application via Wi-Fi is possible when the standby mode for connecting to the Wi-Fi network is active. This is confirmed by a flashing icon Warmtec-EWE-Plus-1-Convector-Heater-FIG- (25) on the device’s display. To enter the Wi-Fi standby mode, press and hold the button Warmtec-EWE-Plus-1-Convector-Heater-FIG- (16) . After about 5 seconds, the flashing icon Warmtec-EWE-Plus-1-Convector-Heater-FIG- (25) will appear on the display. Overheat protection
The heater is equipped with a protection that turns off the heater in case of overheating. If it worked, turn off the heater, unplug the device and let it cool down completely. Check that the air inlets or outlets are not blocked, then try to restart the heater.

If the heater does not work or the safety device turns it off again, return the heater to the service center for inspection and possible repair.

Tilt sensor
The device is equipped with a tilt sensor located on the PCB board. When the heater tilts about 15 degrees, the power will be automatically turned off.

Activation of the heater
If the temperature set on the heater is 1°C higher than the current one in the room,the heater will be turned on and the icon will appear on the display Warmtec-EWE-Plus-1-Convector-Heater-FIG- (26) .

CONNECTION SETUP / WiFi CONTROL

Download and install the application
The Warmtec EWE+ Wi-Fi convector heater, in addition o simple control using the buttons on the control panel, can also be operated by the Tuya Smart application,which can be installed on a smartphone or tablet.

You can download the applicationby scanning the QR codes below. Select the correct one, depending on the operating system you have on your phone/tablet, or search for “Tuya Smart” on the Google Play or AppStore platorm.

Afer downloading and installing, launch the application. Ifou do not have an account on Tuya Smart, you can create one by clicking Sign Up (screenshot 1). You can also use the application without signing up. Jut click Try as Guest. Please note that some features may not be available in unregistered use mode.

Registration an be done via e-mail. The device will automaatally determine your country, although you can change this if necessary. Enter your email address and click the Get Verificaation Code buton (Screenshot 2).

ATTENTION! Due to continuous development and updates, some commands in newer versions of the application, the appearance of the control screen and the operation of some buttons used to operate the heater may slightly differ from those given in this manual. A verificaatiocode will be sent to the provided e-mail address. Enter the code you received (screenshot 3) to verify, then create a password and click Done (screenshot 4).
Afer successful registration you will be automatically logged into the application.

After logging in, a menu will appear on the screen of the device where you can add the device to the application. o add a heater, select “Add device” or the “+” button in the upper right corner.

ATTENTION! To add a heater to the app, it must be running in Wi-Fi standby mode. There are two Wi-Fi standby modes to choose from: fast flashing Wi-Fi icon mode (EZ Mode) and slow flashing mode for Wi-Fi icon (AP Mode). Press to act ate EZ Mode on the heater and hold down the decrease button on the control panel. The Wi-Fi icon will flash on the display. If it flashes quickly, you can connect in EZ Mode. If it flashes slowly, press and hold the decrease button again. If you fail to connect, try again or try connecting in AP Mode. You can switch the heater from CF Mode to AP Mode by pressing and holding the decrease button. The act avati of this mode is confirmed by the slowly flashing Wi-Fi icon on the display.

The next step is to select a Wi-Fi network and enter the password for it. Click Next.

ATTENTION! Be sure to enter the password for your Wi-Fi network correctly. Otherwise, it will not be possible to connect the heater with the application.

Then it is enough to make sure that the appropriate icons for the given standby mode are flashing on the controller’s display and that the appropriate mode has been selected in the application. You should also remember about the selection of the appropriate mode in the application on Android devices.

After selecting and confirming the standby mode for connection, an attempt to connect the application with the device will be made.

Afer successful connection of the heater to the Wi-Fi network, a message about successful connection o the Wi-Fi network will appear on the application sceen.
You can change the default device name. Once the process of adding the heater to the app is complete, click Done. After that, the heater control interface will appear on the screen of the mobile device.

MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE

Maintenance

  1. Before maintenance, make sure the heater has cooled down sufficiently and has been disconnected from the power supply.
  2. Use a vacuum cleaner to clean the air inlets and outlets.
  3. Clean the housing of the device with a damp cloth, then wipe it with a dry cloth.
  4. Never immerse the heater in water or allow water to enter the device.

Storage

  1. Before storing the device, make sure the heater has cooled down and is clean.
  2. If you do not intend to use the heater for a long time, put it together with the manual in the original packaging and store it in a dry, well-ventilated place.
  3. Do not place any heavy objects on the package with the heater. This may demage the device.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND RECYCLING

INFORMATION ABOUT WASTE ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT
We hereby would like to inform you that the main purpose of European regulations and the Act of September 11, 2015 on waste electrical and electronic equipment is to reduce the amount of waste arising from the equipment, to ensure an appropriate level of collection,reuse and recycling of spent equipment, and to increase public awareness of its harmfulness to the natural environment at every stage of the use of electrical and electronic equipment.
Therefore, it should be pointed out that households play a key role in contributingto re-use and recovery, including recycling of waste equipment. User of equipment intended for households is obliged to hand over the waste of electronics that are no longer usable to an authorised collector. However, you should remember that products belonging to the group of electrical or electronic equipment should be disposed of by an authorised person to their collectionpoints.

You can return spent device to the shop where you will also buy a new one. The CCR REE WEEE recycling organization, which we have signed a contract with, will pick it up.

ATTENTION! THE DEVICE MUST NOT BE DISPOSED IN HOUSEHOLD WASTE.
