- Never leave a child unattended in the playard.
- Do not use the bassinet feature for children who can push up on their hands and knees, or who weigh more than 15 lbs (6.8 kg), or are taller than 25 inches (63.5 cm), whichever comes first.
- The playard is designed for children under 35 inches (88.9 cm) tall and weighing less than 30 lbs (13.6 kg).
- Only use the mattress/pad provided by the manufacturer. Do not add extra padding.
- Keep all cords, strings, and small items away from the playard to prevent strangulation hazards.
- Regularly inspect the playard for damaged hardware, loose joints, missing parts, or sharp edges. Do not use if any parts are damaged or missing.

The Baby Trend Portable Playard is designed for quick and easy setup. Follow these steps to assemble your playard.
Unfolding the Playard
- Remove the playard from its travel tote bag.
- Stand the playard upright and separate the legs slightly.
- Pull up on the center of each side rail until they are fully locked into place. Listen for an audible "click" to confirm engagement.
- Push down on the center hub of the playard floor until it lies flat and is securely locked.
- Place the mattress/pad firmly into the bottom of the playard.
Attaching the Bassinet (if applicable)
For infants, the removable full-size bassinet provides a higher sleeping surface.
- Ensure the playard is fully assembled and stable.
- Attach the bassinet fabric to the top rails of the playard using the provided clips or zippers, ensuring it is securely fastened on all four sides.
- Insert the bassinet support bars (if separate) into the designated sleeves on the bassinet fabric.
- Place the mattress/pad on top of the bassinet support.

The playard features a one-hand locking mechanism for easy compact folding.
- Remove the mattress/pad and any bassinet attachments.
- Locate the release buttons on the center of each side rail. Press these buttons to unlock the rails.
- Pull up on the center strap or handle on the playard floor to begin folding.
- Bring all four legs together, ensuring the side rails fold inward.
- Wrap the mattress/pad around the folded playard and secure it with the attached straps.
- Place the folded playard into the travel tote bag.

The playard is equipped with two large wheels with brakes for greater mobility and stability. To move the playard, lift the end without wheels slightly and roll it to the desired location. Engage the wheel brakes when the playard is stationary to prevent accidental movement.

The mesh sides of the playard provide excellent ventilation and allow for clear visibility of your child from various angles.
