The JIACOM FR800 requires 2 AAA batteries (included). Follow these steps to install them:

1. Locate the battery compartment cover at the bottom of the thermometer.

Tip: For consistent readings, ensure the forehead is clean and dry, and avoid taking measurements immediately after physical activity or bathing.

5.2 Taking Object/Ambient Temperature

The FR800 can also measure the temperature of objects or the ambient room temperature.

2. Point the thermometer at the object or area you wish to measure, maintaining a distance of 1-2 inches (2-5 cm).
