Note: The app is called Color Meter in the App Store. Android phones directly download APK files for installation. Don’t worry, the files are safe!
Register and login to APP
After opening the APP, click “Create an account”.
Enter your email. It is recommended to use Gmail or Outlook email- Click “Get verification code” and go to the mailbox to find the verification code
- Enter a six digit password
- Enter your nickname
- No need to fill in here “ ”
- Tick here Click “Sign Up”
Enter the email and password you just registered and click “Sign in” to log in.
Our APP supports connecting different models. Here you can select the first one and click “OK”.
How does colorimeter connect to ColorMeter APP
- Power on the instrument, and turn on Mobile Phone bluetooth
- Click “Connect” on app,Start searching for instrument serial number
- Remove the calibration box and find the serial number in the calibration box, click “Connect” on app
How to calibrate colorimeter
In APP,Click“Personal Center”-“Settings”-“Calibration”.
White Calibration:Keep the colorimeter in the calibration box and click Calibration.
Black Calibration:Remove the calibration cover, keep the instrument test port aligned with the air and 1 m vertically above the ground, and click Calibration.
How to measure the desired parameters
Click“Personal Center”-“Settings”-“Color Spaces”.
You can select the measurement parameters of the model you purchased.
How to synchronize parameters to colorimeter
Click“Personal Center”-“Settings”-“Sync to Instrument”.
After setting the parameters and measurement conditions, click “Sync to Instrument” to display the parameters on the Colorimeter screen.
(Some parameters may not support synchronization)
How to find the color card number
Click“Find Similar Color”-“Select Library”.
You can find the color card number closest to the color you need in RAL K5, Pantone Uncoated, Pantone Coated.
In the search results, the first color card number is the one closest to the sample color
Note:The color card information will be updated without notice.
How to measure color values and create a color library
In the “Measure” interface, you can continuously measure the colors you need, and finally save all colors in the “Measure History” as a color library.
How to measure color difference

How to modify tolerance
You can set the tolerance of L, a, b or dE*ab separately. If you have high requirements for color difference, you can reduce the tolerance. If you have low requirements for color difference, you can increase the tolerance.
Inspiration function
In the inspiration function, you can match your pictures with the colors you like. You can find colors in the color card or use a colorimeter to measure a color in real time to stimulate your design inspiration.

Note
- If you just receive the goods and find that the instrument does not display when it is turned on, try charging for 10 minutes and then try again.
- The calibration whiteboard is the basic guarantee for the accuracy of the instrument.
- It must be well protected and not dirty.
- Please ensure that the surface of the tested sample is flat and the color is uniform, otherwise the measurement accuracy will be affected.
- If the instrument prompts to calibrate, please calibrate according to the prompts before measuring to ensure accurate measurement.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or replace any part of the instrument.
- Do not place the instrument near heat source or directly expose to the fire.
- If any liquid enters the instrument,please power off the instrument immediately.
- This product contains small parts.It may cause suffocation and other hazards,if swallowed by children.

lt is recommend that keep the packing box for at least 30 daysas the packing box is required to ensure the safety of transportation.
Non warranty regulations
- Unauthorized repair,misuse,accident,modification,use of non-official accessories.
- Instrument is out of warranty.
- Damage caused by force.
- Not the performance failure listed in the product performancefailure table.
- Performance failure caused by human factors.
