Product Usage Instructions

Wireless Connection:
To connect via Bluetooth:

1. Turn on Bluetooth mode on the keyboard.
2. Access Bluetooth settings on your device and search for the keyboard.
3. Pair the keyboard with your device by following the on-screen instructions.

2.4G Mode Connection:
To connect via 2.4G:

1. Insert the USB dongle into your device’s USB port.
2. Turn on the 2.4G mode on the keyboard.
3. The keyboard should automatically connect to the dongle.

Wired Mode:
To switch to Wired mode:

1. Connect the keyboard to your device using the provided USB cable.
2. The keyboard will switch to Wired mode automatically once connected.

Multimedia Functions:
Use the following key combinations for multimedia functions:

• Fn + F7: Last Song
• Fn + F8: Play/Pause
• Fn + F9: Next Song
• Fn + F10: Mute
• Fn + F11: Volume Down
• Fn + F12: Volume Up

Notes
All Fn key combinations need to press Fn first, then press other keys; The but tons are released in no particular order.

Indicator light description

1. Charging indicator: The indicator is on when charging, and the indicator is off when charging is complete.
2. Bluetooth channel indicator (is F1, F2, F3 key indicator): the corresponding channel light blinking indicates that waiting for connecting, the indicator light off after successful connection.
3. 2.4G indicator (is F4 key indicator): The indicator blinking indicates waiting for pairing, and the indicator lights off after successful connection.
4. Keypad area indicator: The indicators light on when the keypad area is active, and The indicators light off when the keypad area off.
5. Caps Lock indicator light: White light on when capitalized, light off when Lower case.
6. 6. freeze lock indicator: lock when the white light is on, back to normal when the light off.

Wireless Connections

Wireless(Bluetooth & 2.4G) channel on and off

• Long press the Fn + Insert keyboard for 3 seconds to turn on or turn off the wireless mode. (The APV model keyboard requires tapping the space bar 3 times to turn on)
• The keyboard continuously turns on and off needs to pause 3 seconds buffer time.
• After the channel is turned on again, the wireless mode is connected to the wireless mode before the shutdown by default. If the channel is not successfully connected, the corresponding indicator blinks.

Bluetooth mode connection operation

• Press Fn + F1 / F2 / F3 (corresponding to 1/2/3 channels respectively), and the F1 / F2 / F3 key light blinks slowly, indicating that it is waiting for Bluetooth pairing. The name “Varmilo VS-1/2” of the Bluetooth channel will be found in the device.
• Long press Fn + F1 / F2 / F3 (corresponding to 1/2/3 channels respectively) for 5 seconds to clear the currently connected device and wait for pairing again.

2.4G mode connection operation

• Press Fn + F4, When the F4 key light blinks slowly, indicating that it is waiting for a 2.4G connection. After the connection is completed, the F4 key light will be steady on. (The included 2.4G receiver has been paired before delivery)
• Long press Fn + F4 for 5 seconds to clear the currently paired 2.4G receiver, and the F4 light will flash. At this point, you can plug in the new 2.4G receiver for pairing, and after the pairing is successful, the F4 key light is on.

Wired mode and Wireless mode switching

• The keyboard will automatically switch to wired mode after inserting the data cable. Or also can press Fn + Delete to switch the wireless or wired mode.
• Unplugging the data cable will automatically switch to wireless mode, and it will connect the last connection wireless mode of the device (if the device all wireless channels haven’t been connected, the F1 light will flashes, and Bluetooth channel 1 waits for pairing).

Multimedia Function

Latency adjustment

Long press Fn + 1 / 2 / 3 (in the main key area) for 3 seconds, and the Caps Lock light will flash three times to set the keyboard delay to Fast mode Normal mode, or Slow mode.

Lighting effect

• Press Fn + “Left shift” or “Right shift”, to switch light effect to the last one or next one.
• Press Fn + “-” or “+”, to switch the color light effect to the last one or next one.
• Press Fn + “←” or ” → ” to slow down or speed up the dynamic speed of the backlight effect.
• Press Fn + “↓” or “↑” to reduce or increase the brightness of the backlight effect.
• Press Fn + “X” to turn on/off the keyboard backlight.

Sleep mode

Long press Fn + 4 / 5 / 6 (in the main key area) for 3 seconds, and the Caps Lock light will flash three times to set the keyboard (in wireless mode) to enter sleep mode after 5 minutes of standby, enter sleep mode after 30 minutes of standby, or not enter sleep mode.

Low Battery Warning
The charging indicator light will slowly flash indicates that the battery is low. If the keyboard is not charged within 10 minutes, it will power off automatically.

Other Functions

• Press Fn + “Win” to lock/unlock the Win key.
• Long press Fn + “Left Ctrl” for 3 seconds, and the Caps Lock light will flash three times, indicating that the functions of “Caps Lock” and “Left Ctrl” are swapping. During that time, Long press Fn + “Caps Lock” for 3 seconds to swap the functions back.
• Press Fn + D + “Backspace”, and the Caps Lock light will flash three times, indicating that the keyboard is resetting to the factory settings.
• Long press Fn + “D” for 3 seconds, and the Caps Lock light will flash three times, indicating that the key values, lighting effects, and connection history are all resetting to factory settings.

Varmilo Warranty Service Information

• Varmilo provides a one-year free warranty service for keyboards and three months for accessories from the date of order receipt.
• The warranty period is based on this card and the date of purchase. Please keep it properly. If you lose this card, you can still use the purchase voucher (invoice, receipt) and the purchase information of e-commerce as the warranty basis.
• Free warranty service is only applicable to non-human quality problems in normal use. If the product is damaged due to human factors or force majeure, the free warranty service cannot be provided.
