Warranty
This GLEN Rapid Fryer is fully warranted against any defect arising out of defective materials or faulty workmanship for a period of two years from the date of purchase. Should any defect develop in this product, the customer should bring the product to the nearest authorised service centre, where the company undertakes to get the product repaired free of charge.
This warranty is not valid if:
- The use and care instructions have not been followed.
- Defects are caused by accident, misuse, abuse or commercial use.
- The repair work is carried out by persons not authorised by the company.
- Any modification or alteration of any nature is made in the product.
- Normal wear & tear of the product is not covered under warranty.
- The Bill/Cash memo and copy of warranty card is not presented.
Under no circumstances, whether based on limited warranty or otherwise shall the company be liable for incidental, special or consequential damages. Use of product indicates acceptance by you of the aforesaid terms and conditions.

Identify Your Rapid Fryer

User's Guide
Using Your Rapid Fryer
Initial Setup:
- Remove all packaging material and stickers.
- Clean the basket and pan with hot water, washing liquid, and a non-abrasive sponge. They are also dishwasher-safe.
- Wipe the inside and outside of the appliance with a moist cloth.
- Place the appliance on a stable, horizontal, heat-resistant surface.
- Ensure the basket is placed properly in the pan.
Operation:
- This is a hot air fryer; do not fill the pan with oil or frying fat.
- Do not place anything on top of the appliance.
- Do not block the air inlets.
- Plug the mains cord into an earthed wall socket.
- Pull the pan out by the handle.
- Place ingredients in the basket. Do not overfill the basket.
- Slide the pan back into the appliance securely. Never use the pan without the basket.
- Caution: The pan gets very hot during operation; hold only by the handle.
- Rotate the temperature knob to the desired setting (refer to 'Settings' table).
- Rotate the timer knob to set the required preparation time (0-30 minutes). The appliance turns on when the timer is set.
- To switch off, set the timer knob to 'OFF' or '0'.
- Add 3 minutes to the preparation time if the appliance is cold. You can preheat the appliance by setting the timer for over 3 minutes until the heating-up light goes out.
- The 'Power - ON' light will illuminate. The heating element cycles on and off to maintain temperature, indicated by the 'Heating - Up' light.
- Excess oil from ingredients collects at the bottom of the pan.
- Some ingredients require shaking halfway through cooking. Pull out the pan, shake it, and slide it back in. Caution: Do not press the basket release button while shaking.
- Tips for shaking: Remove the basket from the pan and shake only the basket to reduce weight. Set the timer to half the preparation time to hear a bell for shaking, or pull out the pan anytime to check ingredients (the unit stays on).
- When the timer bell rings, the preparation time is complete. Pull out the pan and place it on a heat-resistant surface.
- Check if ingredients are ready. If not, slide the pan back and add a few extra minutes.
- To remove small ingredients, press the basket release button and lift the basket. Do not turn the basket upside down with the pan attached.
- Steam may escape when the pan is opened.
- Empty the basket onto a plate or bowl. Use tongs for large or fragile ingredients.
- The appliance is ready for the next batch immediately.
Making Home Made Fries
- Peel and cut potatoes into sticks.
- Wash thoroughly and dry with kitchen paper.
- Toss sticks with 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil in a bowl until coated.
- Place sticks in the basket, ensuring excess oil stays in the bowl.
- Fry according to instructions in the 'Using Your Rapid Fryer' section.
Cleaning
- Clean after every use.
- Unplug and let the appliance cool down. Remove the pan for faster cooling.
- Wipe the exterior with a moist cloth.
- Clean the pan and basket with hot water, washing-up liquid, and a non-abrasive sponge. Avoid metal utensils or abrasive materials.
- Use degreasing liquid for stubborn dirt.
- The pan and basket are dishwasher-proof.
- For stuck-on dirt, soak the pan and basket in hot water with washing-up liquid for 10 minutes.
- Clean the interior with hot water and a non-abrasive sponge.
- Clean the heating element with a cleaning brush.
Storage
- Unplug and let the appliance cool down completely.
- Ensure all parts are clean and dry.
- Store the rapid fryer in a clean, dry place.
- Insert the cord into the cord compartment.
Environment
Do not dispose of the appliance with normal household waste. Hand it in at an official collection point for recycling to help preserve the environment.

- Oven-ready snacks can be prepared in the rapid fryer.
- Use pre-made dough for quick filled snacks; it requires less preparation time than homemade dough.
- Place a baking tin or oven dish in the basket for cakes, quiches, or fragile/filled ingredients.
