Your device case is also the charger.

  1. Place the earbuds into the charging case. For best results, do not insert earbuds in the charging case if they are wet or dirty.
  2. Close the charging case, and either connect the USB cable as shown or place the charging case on a wireless charger. The earbuds and charging case are charged simultaneously.

The charging head for plugging the USB cable into a wall outlet is not included. Use only Samsung charging devices rated with an output voltage of 5v and an output current of over 150mA (sold separately). Samsung accessories are designed for your device to maximize battery life. Using other accessories may cause damage, and damage may not be covered by a warranty.

While charging, the device and the charger may become hot. This does not affect the device’s lifespan or performance and is in the device’s normal range of operation. Remove the device from the charger and wait for the device to cool down.

Do not disassemble, modify, or repair your device. Placing objects, such as magnetic stripe cards, including credit cards, phone cards, passbooks, and boarding passes, next to the device or charger may cause damage to the charger or device’s magnetic field.

When you connect the earbuds and the charger case the LED indicators flash certain colors to indicate the battery level.

  • Green: Fully charged or above 60% battery.
  • Yellow: Between 30 and 60% battery.
  • Red: Charging or below 30% battery.
  • Flashing Red: Charging error. Reconnect the case and earbuds. If the error occurs again, contact a Samsung Service Center for service support.

NOTE You can check the battery level for the case and earbuds in the Galaxy Wearable app. For more information, see the Battery level.

Wirelessly charge your device using a supported Samsung smartphone. Some features are not available while sharing power.

  1. From the smartphone, open the Notification panel and, tap Wireless PowerShare to enable this feature.
  2. With the smartphone face down, place the device on the back of the smartphone to charge. A notification sound or vibration occurs when charging begins.

NOTE Wireless PowerShare works with most Qi-Certified devices. Requires minimum 30% battery to share. Speed and power efficiency of charge varies by device. May not work with some accessories, covers, or other manufacturer’s devices. If you have trouble connecting or charging is slow, remove any cover from each device. May affect call reception or data services, depending on your network environment.

  • For best results when using Wireless PowerShare, please note:
  • Remove any accessories or covers before using the feature. Depending on the type of accessory or cover, Wireless PowerShare may not work properly.
  • The location of the wireless charging coil may vary by device, so you may need to adjust the placement to make a connection. When charging starts, a notification or vibration will occur, so the notification will help you know you’ve made a connection. During charging, do not move or use either device.
  • Call reception or data services may be affected, depending on your network environment.
  • Charging speed or efficiency can vary depending on device condition or surrounding environment.
  • Do not use headphones.

Before wearing the earbuds, be sure to attach the wingtips. Wearing earbuds without wingtips may hurt your ears.

  1. Select the wing tip size that best fits your ear.
  2. Hold the wing tip for the left or right ear in one hand, and the corresponding earbud in the other.
  3. Hook the wing tip’s groove to the earbud’s fixation hook on one side and gently pull the wingtip to cover the earbud. Do not pull the wing tip excessively when you attach or detach it because it may tear.
  4. Follow the same procedure for the other earbud.

Place the earbuds in your ears correctly for a comfortable fit.

  1. Select the right or left earbud, and insert the lower half (with the speakers) into the bottom part of the corresponding ear.
  2. Tuck the top half of the earbud (with the wingtip) in the upper part of your ear. Adjust for a comfortable fit. The touch-sensitive sensor will detect that you are wearing the earbuds when you put them on and emit a sound.

Should you lose one of the earbuds, you can buy a replacement and couple the old and new earbuds together.

  1. Insert the earbuds into the charging case. The earbud battery indicator light will flash red to indicate that the earbuds are not coupled.
  2. Tap and hold the touch area on both earbuds for seven seconds or more. When the earbud batter indicator light flashes green and then turns off, the earbuds are coupled and ready for use.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • When your true wireless earphones are fully charged, how do you know?
Connect the charging cable (included) to the charging connection on the back of the charging case and the other end of the charging cable to a usable USB power source with the earbuds inside. When the power indication light on each earbud turns off, the earbuds are fully charged.
  • What is the procedure for resetting my true wireless live earbuds?
Reset your earbuds (red lights blinking), then place them back in the case and wait about a minute before pulling the right one out first and allowing it to fully turn on, then pulling the left one out and allowing it to do the same.
  • Will they charge wirelessly?
    They will charge wirelessly, yes.
  • Is the charging case included with this item?
Yes, it includes a charging case.
  • Why do these for half the price look precisely like my Samsung Galaxy earphones Plus?
They’re called urban x Samsung galaxy earphones, and all you have to do is Google it because you can Google anything. It’s odd that you say people don’t know what Samsung earbuds look like, when you obviously don’t.
  • How do I know when I need to charge my earbuds?
Before your earphones lose more than 20% of their battery, you should charge them. When it’s even higher, you can charge.
  • What’s the best way to pair left and right earbuds?
Remove the left and right earphones from the case and push and hold the touch control area for 3 seconds or until a white LED light flashes on both earbuds. Long pressing both the left and right earbuds at the same time is critical.
  • Why aren’t my earbuds communicating with one another?
Turn off your device’s Bluetooth option. Remove the earbuds from the casing and they will automatically turn on. To manually sync the left and right earbuds, double-press both of them at the same time. NOTE: Try it again if it doesn’t work the first time.
  • Why can’t I connect more than one Bluetooth earbud?
Depending on your audio settings, headphones may only play in one ear. Check your audio properties to make sure the mono option is disabled. Also, make sure that the voice levels on both earphones are equal.
  • My wireless earbuds aren’t charging?
Check that they’re correctly seated on the charging stand or in the case. Some headphones are charged via a stand or case that has a cord attached to it, rather than directly through the cable. If this is the case, ensure that your headphones are properly positioned so that they can accept a charge.
