Product Description
The Unilux VFC RetroStat thermostat is a fully-programmable,
digital thermostat designed specifically for fan coil applications
in condominiums, hotels, apartments, etc. It comes with five
built-in relays for W, Y, Hi, Med, and Low settings. The thermostat
allows control of the fan with settings for low, medium, high, and
auto.

Pr oduct Description
The Unilux VFC RetroStat thermostat is a fully-programmable, digital thermostat designed specifically for fan coil applications in condominiums, hotels, apartments, etc.
Changes in output wiring and external links between wiring terminals allow you to configure the thermostat for the appropriate application. The available configurations are:
· Two pipes – Heat or cool with manual changeover (no auxiliary heat)
· Two pipes – Heat or cool with manual changeover and auxiliary heat
· Four pipes – Heat or cool auto changeover.
The thermostat comes with five built-in relays, one for each W, Y, Hi, Med and Low.
· W is for heat or cool · Y is for cool or auxiliary heater · Hi, Med & Low relays control the fan speed that is selected
The fan is controlled by the thermostat. Low, medium, high and auto fan settings are made with the thermostat buttons.

Troubleshooting
If your thermostat is not functioning properly, you can reset it to troubleshoot issues. To reset your thermostat, press escape, up & down at the same time for 5 seconds. The thermostat screen should light up and reset.

Installation Instructions · Prepare the wall for mounting the thermostat, including identifying the wires as noted above. · The thermostat is a two-piece design. Release the back over from the front by pushing the both sides and gently separating the two pieces. · Record your SSID and password in the space on the right. The SSID and password are found on the back of the board in the top right comer. · Remove the battery pull tab {if applicable). · Thread the wires through the back-cover opening and secure them into the wiring terminal connector block according to the wiring diagram. · Push any excess wire into the hole in the wall.
Installation Instructions (Continued) · Level the thermostat and secure the back cover flush against the wall with the screws and plugs provided. · Centre the front cover and snap it on to the back cover. · Proceed to the setup instructions
