Before first use, ensure the scales are placed on a flat, stable surface. The Salter 1150 BKDR scales require 2 AAA batteries, which are included with the product.
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scales.

Turning On and Basic Weighing
- Place the scales on a firm, flat surface.
- Натисніть УВІМК./НУЛЬ button to turn on the scales. The display will show "8888" and then "0".
- Place the item to be weighed directly onto the glass platform. The weight will be displayed.

Using the Add & Weigh (Tare) Function
The Add & Weigh function allows you to measure multiple ingredients consecutively in the same bowl without emptying it.
- Place your first ingredient (or empty bowl) on the scales. Note the weight.

- With the scales on, press the ОДИНИЦЯ button to cycle through the available measurement units.
- The Aquatronic function allows for accurate measurement of liquids (water, milk, etc.) by selecting 'ml' or 'fl.oz'.
