U-PROX Auto Tag – U-PROX
U-PROX Auto Tag operates in the “active identifier” mode.
08.08.25, 16:02
Active Identifier
In this mode, U-PROX Auto Tag periodically, once every 0.5 seconds, transmits brief information about itself and its readiness to interact with the reader over the radio.
Upon receiving such a notification, the reader calculates the distance to the UPROX Auto Tag, and if it matches the one set in the reader and the reader has not yet interacted with this U-PROX Tag, data is exchanged between the reader and the tag. The reader transmits the identifier code obtained from the U-Prox Tag to the controller.
For re-interaction with the reader, U-PROX Auto Tag must leave the reader’s range or stop transmitting its signal for more than 6 seconds.
Using U-PROX Tag
Readers support hardware active mobile identifiers U-PROX Tag and U-PROX Auto Tag.
Interaction with Readers in “Door” Mode
Approach the reader at a distance of 0.5 1 m with your U-PROX Auto Tag. Data will be exchanged between the reader and the tag, and the reader will transmit the identifier code obtained from the U-PROX Auto Tag to the controller.
If the code meets the access rules, the controller will allow passage (unlock the door, etc.).

If the code meets the access rules, the controller will allow passage (open the barrier, etc.).
Registration in the Access Control System
Bring the turned-off U-PROX Auto Tag close to the desktop reader at a distance of 10 20 cm and turn on the device. The code will be read and transmitted to the access control system for further registration.
