8. To reduce the risk of electric shock, disconnect the Whip Light before attempting any maintenance or cleaning. Turning off controls will not reduce this risk.

2. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions to ensure the product is properly and safely installed.

DIMENSIONS

MOUNTING & WIRING

Option A – Direct To Vehicle

1. Decide where you want to position the whip light on your vehicle. If drilling is necessary, mark the location and drill a pilot hole with a 13/32” drill bit (not included).
2. Carefully guide and rotate each whip light segment onto the previous one. Prevent twisting the LED strip during the connection process.
3. Feed the power cable through the pilot hole from the top. Thread the M10 washer, spring washer, and nut onto the power cable, in the specified order, then tighten with a wrench (not included).
4. Attach your flag (not included) to the whip light.
5. Connect the RED positive (+) wire to a 12V power source, and the BLACK negative (-) wire to the ground.
6. Power on your vehicle and test the whip light. If everything is working properly, turn off your vehicle,e and secure any loose wires.
   NOTE: Cable ties and wire loom are recommended for cable management and protection. Cable ties and wire loom are not included.

Option B – L-Shaped Mounting Plate

1. Feed the power cable through the L-shaped mounting plate (longer edge facing down), M10 washer, spring washer, and nut, in the specified order. Tighten with a wrench (not included).
2. Carefully guide and rotate each whip light segment onto the previous one. Prevent twisting the LED strip during the connection process.
3. Mount the whip light.
   • Decide where you want to position the light on your vehicle.
   • If drilling is necessary, use the L-shaped mounting plate to mark the two pilot holes. Drill the holes with a 21/64” drill bit (not included).
   • Secure the whip lightly with the M8 hex head screws, washers, spring washers, and nuts. Tighten with a wrench (not included).
4. Attach your flag (not included) to the whip light.
5. Connect the RED positive (+) wire to a 12V power source, and the BLACK negative (-) wire to the ground.
6. Power on your vehicle and test the whip light. If everything is working properly, turn off your vehicle,e and secure any loose wires.
   NOTE: Cable ties and wire loom are recommended for cable management and protection. Cable ties and wire loom are not included.

CONTROLLING YOUR WHIP LIGHT WITH THE REMOTE

1. Power Button
   Press to toggle the whip light on or off. The light will resume in the same mode you last used when you turn it back on.
2. Brightness Control Button
   Press to switch between the 5 available brightness levels.
3. Mode Control Button
   Press to switch between the 24 available light modes.
4. Individual Color Control Button
   Select your preferred color for the whip light.
5. Multi-Color Control Button
   Press to switch between the 15 available colors.

WARRANTY

TYPES LIMITED WARRANTY
TYPE S warrants, to the original purchaser, that its products are free from defects in material and workmanship for 2 years from the date of the original purchase. Where permitted by law, TYPE S’s liability shall be limited to that outlined in this limited express warranty. This limited express warranty shall be thethe exclusive remedy of the purchaser and TYPE S makes no other warranty of any kind aside from the limited express warranty stated above.
NOTE: Warranty only applies to North American customers of purchases made in North America.

CONDITIONS OF WARRANTY
If during the 2-year warranty period y, our new product is found to be defective, TYPE S will repair such defect, or replace the product, without charge for parts or labor subject to the following conditions:

1. All repairs must be performed by TYPE S.
2. All warranty claims must be accompanied by a copy of the sales receipt or bill of sale.
3. The equipment must not have been altered or damaged through negligence, accident, improper operation, or failure to follow the product instructions for installation, use, or care.
4. The replacement of parts is excluded from the warranty when replacement is necessary due to normal wear and tear.
5. Repair or replacement parts supplied by TYPE S under this warranty are protected only for the unexpired portion of the original warranty.
6. This is a “repair or replace” warranty only and does not cover the costs incurred for the installation, removal, or reinstallation of the product, or damage to any mobile phone device or vehicle.

FAQs

Question: Do I need to pair the remote with the whip light?
Answer: No, pairing is not necessary as the unit is already synchronized. If the remote is unresponsive, you can easily reconnect it to the whip light by following these steps:

1. Power on the whip light.
2. Within 3 seconds, press and hold until the whip light flickers to indicate a successful pairing.
3. Test the remote’s functions.
