Overview

Trackonomy provides a quick and easy solution for labeling and tracking your assets starting at the point of origination. You use a simple app on a tablet to set-up, configure and test your GBP-2005 product.

Step-by-step Usage

  1. Secure your GBP-2005 to the asset and enable it.
  2. Use the tablet application to link the GBP-2005 to an asset.
  3. Test the link using the tablet app’s built-in test routine.
  4. When the app successfully confirms the link, the asset is ready to be deployed.
  5. Repeat steps 1 to 4 if you have multiple assets.
  6. Use the final check table to confirm you have not missed any assets.
  7. Task complete. Deploy and monitor the assets.

Tracking Assets

Trackonomy provides multiple options for monitoring assets. One of them is App based and for deployments inside a facility. Alternatively, the device also works with Trackonomy’s Asset Origination Infrastructure or Full Visibility Infrastructure.

3.1 Find an asset application

Use the Find an Asset app to locate assets tagged with a GBP-2005 inside a facility.

  1. Secure your GBP-2005 to the asset and enable it.
  2. Use the tablet application to link the GBP-2005 to an asset.
  3. Test the link using the tablet app’s built in test routine.
  4. When the app successfully confirms the link, the asset is ready to be deployed.
  5. Repeat steps 1 to 4 if you have multiple assets.
  6. Use the final check table to confirm you have not missed any assets.
  7. Task complete. Deploy and monitor the assets.
  8. You can periodically use the App to continue monitoring.

3.2 Asset Origination and Full Visibility Infrastructure
The Asset Origination and Full Visibility Infrastructure solutions provide customized reporting and notification using Trackonomy infrastructure and our cloud solutions. Please contact your local Trackonomy sales contact for more information.
