Thisistheprocedureforupdatingthefirmwareofthe PR3000RTXL2UACNandPR3000RTXL2UHVACNUPS.
TheUPSwillbeupdatedtofirmwareversion1.1786.

UPDATING FIRMWARE
Step 1: DownloadthePRV36_US_2UA-101786-240814-0903.binfilefromthecyberpower.comwebsite. https://www.cyberpowersystems.com/products/software/firmware/
NOTE:Beforeapplyingthisfirmwareupdate,pleasescheduleatimewhentheconnected equipmentcanbeturnedoff.ThisupdaterequirespoweringdowntheUPSforafewminutes. ThisprocedurerequiresanetworkconnectiontotheRMCARD205(networkcard)installed inyourUPS.Anynetworkequipmentlikeswitchesorrouters,thatarepluggedintotheUPS, shouldbetransferredtemporarilytoanalternatesourceofpowersotheconnectiontothe RMCARDisnotlostwhentheUPSisturnedoff.
Step 2: VerifyRMCARD205hasaf/wversionofv1.14orhighertosupporttheUPSfirmwareupgrade function.Tochecktheversion,opentheRMCARD205interfaceandclickonthe"System"tab locatedatthetopandselect"About"ontheside. IfyourRMCARD205Firmwareversionis1.14orlower,pleaseupdatetothelatestRMCARD205 firmwarebeforeupdatingtheUPS.ThefirmwarecanbefoundatCyberPower'swebsite. Ref: https://www.cyberpowersystems.com/products/software/firmware/

UPDATING FIRMWARE
Step 3: Select"TurnUPSoff"radialbuttonforInstantshutdownontheUPSMasterSwitchpage andthenclick"Next"buttontoinitiateUPSshutdownprocedure.
Step 3.1: Click"Apply"buttononUPSMasterSwitchpagetoconfirm.

UPDATING FIRMWARE
Step 3.2: Underthe"Next"buttonitwillsayUPSRemainOff.YourUPSisnolongersupplying powertotheACoutlets.
Step 4: Click"Update"iconontheUPSInformationpagetobeginthefirmwareupdateprocess.

Step 4.1: Clickonthe"ChooseFile"buttonandselectthePRV36_US_2UA-101786-240814-0903.binfile fromthefolderyoudownloadeditinto.
Step 4.2: Clickonthe"Submit"buttontobegintheupdate.

UPDATING FIRMWARE
Step 5: Aprogressindicatorwillbeshownonyourscreen.Processingthefirmwareupdate willtake5-10minutes.
Step 5.1: Oncetheupdatehasbeenappliedarebootwarningwillappear.
Step 5.2: YourUPSwillturnonautomaticallyandyourscreenwilldisplaytheloginprompt.

UPDATING FIRMWARE
Step 5.3: Loginandclickonthe"UPS"tabandselect"Information"toconfirmtheversion numberhaschangedto1.1786.
Theupgradeiscomplete,andyoucanreturntousingyourUPSasnormal. Ifyouneedadditionalassistance,pleasecall1-877-297-6937,press1forTechnicalSupport orsubmitasupportticketonlineatwww.cyberpower.com/support. Pleasebereadytoprovidethe12-characterserialnumberoftheUPSwhencontactingus.
