After placement, wait at least 2-4 hours before plugging the freezer into a power outlet. This allows the refrigerant to settle. Once plugged in, the freezer will begin cooling. Allow it to run for several hours empty before loading with food.

The freezer is equipped with a 7-level adjustable thermostat located at the back of the unit. Turn the rotary knob to select your desired temperature setting. Setting "1" is the warmest, and "7" is the coldest. The temperature range can be controlled from -7.6°F to 6.8°F (-22°C to -14°C).
