Kurmak

1. Pilin Takılması ve Şarj Edilmesi

The Retevis RT29 comes with a 3200 mAh Lithium-ion battery. For optimal performance, fully charge the battery before first use.

3. To charge, place the radio (with battery installed) into the charging dock.
4. Connect the charger adapter to the charging dock and plug it into a power outlet.

2. Anten Bağlantısı

1. Radio Controls and Functions

2. Temel İletişim

1. Turn on both radios and set them to the same channel using the Channel Knob.
2. To transmit, press and hold the PTT button on your radio. Speak clearly into the microphone.

Uyumluluk hakkında not: The channels are pre-set with CTCSS DCS to reduce unnecessary transmissions. Therefore, RT29 radios cannot directly communicate with other brands of radios unless programmed to do so. If you need to communicate with other brands, please contact Retevis support for firmware and programming assistance.

3. Acil Durum Alarmı Fonksiyonu

The RT29 features an emergency alarm function designed to enhance safety in the workplace. This function can be assigned to one of the side keys (SK1 or SK2) via programming software.

• When activated, the radio will emit a loud alarm sound.
• If another RT29 radio is on the same channel, it will receive the alarm, and its indicator light will flash green, alerting team members to a potential emergency.
• The alarm will continue until the PTT button is pressed.

4. Voice Activated Transmit (VOX)

The RT29 supports 0-9 levels of voice activated transmit (VOX) function, allowing for hands-free operation. When VOX is enabled and a sufficient voice level is detected, the radio will automatically transmit. This feature can be configured via programming software.

The RT29 is rated IP67, meaning it is completely dustproof and can withstand accidental immersion in water at a depth of 1 meter for 30 minutes. While rugged, proper care should still be taken:

• Ensure the battery pack is securely attached and all port covers are properly sealed before exposing the radio to water or dust.
• Do not intentionally submerge the radio for prolonged periods or beyond specified depths.
• If the radio gets wet, wipe it dry with a clean cloth before charging or opening any compartments.
