Before first use, wash all parts that come into contact with food. Ensure the unit is unplugged from the power outlet.

- Place the cover onto the work bowl, aligning the feed tube with the work bowl handle. Twist clockwise until the cover locks securely into place. The food processor will not operate unless the bowl and cover are properly locked.
- Ensure the pushers are ready to be inserted into the feed tube if you plan to use them.
