Getting Started Guide
1. Button
- On/Off Slide Switch: Slide switch ON or OFF to control the device power.
- Bluetooth Connect Button: Press the [Connect] button; the keyboard is now ready to be connected to your device.
2. Status Light
- CAPS Status Light: Press the [Caps Lock] button. The Caps Lock function will be on, and the CAPS Status Light will be illuminated. (Note: Sometimes the light may not be on but the function is valid for some Android systems.)
- Bluetooth Status Light: Press the [Connect] button. The [Status] light will blink blue, indicating the keyboard is ready to pair. The indicator light will stay on until the keyboard connects with your device.
- Charge Light: Turns red when charging, becomes solid green when fully charged.
- Power Status Light: Slide the power button ON. The blue light illuminates for 4 seconds and then turns off to save power. Your keyboard is still on. The power light will blink when the battery is low.
Function Keys
The keyboard features dedicated function keys for various operations. Use the Fn key in combination with other keys for enhanced functionality.
Key Combinations:
- Fn + Q: Switch to iOS System
- Fn + W: Switch to Android/Windows System
- Fn + E: Switch to Windows System (for F1-F12 functions)
- Fn + [Sleep/Wake]: Sleep/Wake the device
- Fn + [Light Key]: Turn backlit on/off.
- Fn + [Light Key] + PgUp or Fn + [Light Key] + PgDn: Switch backlit colors (7 colors available).
- Fn + Home: Move cursor to the beginning of the line
- Fn + End: Move cursor to the end of the line
- Fn + PgUp: Move cursor to the top of the page
- Fn + PgDn: Move cursor to the bottom of the page

iOS System:
- Cmd + A: Select All
- Cmd + C: Copy
- Cmd + X: Cut
- Cmd + V: Paste
- Cmd + Spacebar: Switch Language
Android/Windows System:
- Ctrl + A: Select All

Note: In Windows systems, pressing F1-F12 directly activates the F1-F12 function. To use the icon-labeled functions (e.g., Virtual Keyboard, Select All), press and hold the Fn key, then press the desired function key (e.g., Fn+F1 for Virtual Keyboard).
Steps of Pairing the Keyboard with Your Device
- On the keyboard, slide the power button ON. The blue power light will illuminate for 4 seconds and then turn off to save power. Your keyboard is still on.
- Press the [Connect] button. The status indicator will be blinking blue.
- On your device, navigate to Settings - Bluetooth - On.
- Your device will display "Bluetooth 3.0 keyboard" as an available device.
- Select "Bluetooth 3.0 keyboard" on your device. The keyboard is now paired.
- Press Fn+Q if your device is iOS; press Fn+W if your device is Android; press Fn+E if your device is Windows.
Notice
If Step 6 was not completed, some Windows systems might not use F1-F12 functions properly. In such cases, you may need to press Fn+E for Windows system functions. If you cannot connect the keyboard or encounter any issues, please contact support@arteck.com for assistance. We aim to resolve your issue with a satisfactory solution.
Fn+Function Keys Notice
Create shortcuts to useful functions by first pressing and holding the Fn key, then pressing the desired function key.
Backlight with Colorful Keyboard Guide
1. Press the Fn + [Light Key] once to turn on the backlit. Press again to increase brightness. Press a third time to turn off the backlit.
2. Press Fn + [Light Key] + PgUp or Fn + [Light Key] + PgDn to switch between the 7 available backlit colors.
Charge the Battery
Turn on the Bluetooth keyboard. The blue power indicator light will illuminate for 4 seconds and then turn off to save power. Your keyboard is still on.
If the power indicator light blinks, the battery is low and needs charging:
- Plug the Micro USB charging cable into the keyboard.
- Connect the USB plug to a computer or USB power adapter.
- Charge for 1-3 hours, or until the charge light turns solid green.
Caution:
- When not in use for a prolonged period, turn off the keyboard to prolong battery life.
- When the power status light blinks, charge the keyboard for at least 2 hours.
Energy-saving Sleep Mode
The keyboard's long-life battery lasts for several months of normal use. The keyboard enters sleep mode if left on and unused. Press any key and wait a second or two to wake it from sleep mode.
Safety Caution
- Keep the item away from sharp objects.
- Do not place heavy objects on the keyboard.
- Keep away from microwave items.
- Do not force or distort the keyboard.
- Keep away from oil, chemical, or other organic liquids.
Cleaning
Clean the keyboard with water, alcohol, or an alcohol-based disinfectant.
Troubleshooting
- Ensure the keyboard is ON (slide switch in "ON" position).
- Ensure the keyboard is within operating distance (within 10 meters).
- Ensure the battery has sufficient power.
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your tablet/PC/smartphone.
- Ensure the wireless keyboard has been paired with Bluetooth.
Disposal of Waste Batteries
To separate the battery from the circuit board, insert a screwdriver between the plastic top and metal case at the keyboard's top or bottom and pry up the plastic top completely. It is your responsibility to hand this over to an applicable collection and recycling facility. Recycling will help conserve natural resources and prevent potential negative consequences for human health and the environment due to the possible presence of hazardous substances in batteries and electrical and electronic equipment.
