Operation
Preparing Food for Sealing
For optimal results, ensure food items are clean and dry before placing them into a vacuum bag. For moist foods, consider pre-freezing or using a paper towel to absorb excess liquid near the seal area.
Using the Main Vacuum Sealer
- Place the food item into a vacuum sealer bag, leaving at least 3 inches of space from the top of the bag.
- Open the lid of the vacuum sealer.
- Place the open end of the bag flat into the vacuum channel, ensuring it is centered over the sealing strip.
- Close the lid firmly until both side locks click into place.
- Select the appropriate mode (Dry or Wet) using the control panel.
- Press the "Vac" button to start the vacuum and seal process. The machine will automatically vacuum air and then seal the bag. For extended vacuum, use the "Ext-vac" feature.
- Once the process is complete, press the release buttons on the sides to open the lid and remove the sealed bag.

Proper placement of the vacuum bag is crucial for an effective seal. Ensure the open end is flat within the sealing channel.

The heat sealing bar creates a secure seal, while the vacuum gaskets ensure an airtight chamber for vacuuming. Keep these components clean for optimal performance.
Dry & Wet Food Modes
The Upromax Vacuum Sealer Machine offers distinct modes for different food types:
- Dry Mode: Ideal for solid food items without moisture, such as nuts, grains, or dried fruits.
- Wet Mode: Suitable for moist or juicy foods, such as raw meats, marinated items, or blanched vegetables. This mode adjusts the sealing time to ensure a strong seal despite moisture.

The vacuum sealer supports different food modes to accommodate dry, wet, oily, and powdered items, ensuring appropriate sealing for each.
Bag Requirements
To achieve proper vacuum sealing, specific bag types are required:
- Textured Bags: These bags feature a glossy, double-sided grain or microchannel cross twill. They are both sealable and vacuumable, allowing air to be extracted efficiently.
- Flat Pocket Bags: These bags are smooth on both sides with no grain. They are sealable but not suitable for vacuuming, as they do not allow air to be drawn out.

For vacuum sealing, use textured bags with a microchannel cross twill. Flat pocket bags are suitable for sealing only, not vacuuming.
Using the Mini Hand Sealer
- After battery installation, press and hold the top and bottom parts of the sealer together over the bag opening for a few seconds to heat up.
- Slide the sealer across the bag opening to create a seal.
- To cut a bag, use the integrated cutter by sliding it along the desired line.

The mini hand sealer can be used to cut bags to size or to create a simple heat seal for non-vacuum applications.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Cleaning the Main Unit
- Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
- The sealing tray is removable for easy cleaning. Carefully detach it from the main unit.
- Wash the removable tray with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reattaching.
- Wipe the exterior of the machine with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
- Clean the vacuum chamber and gaskets regularly to ensure optimal performance.

The sealing tray is designed to be removable for easy cleaning, preventing accumulation of food residues.
General Care
- Store the appliance in a dry place when not in use.
- Do not store the machine with the lid locked, as this can compress the gaskets and affect sealing performance over time.
