The LiveWell pump timer operates the pump in a cycling On-Off mode, allowing the user to set the duration of each period. The pump can run at a duty cycle of 0 to 100%. For example, the timer can operate at 80% duty for the first ten seconds and switch to a lower 25% duty for the next five minutes. The timer includes an initial priming phase, which is executed upon initial power-up. Additionally, two optional wires can be configured to override the duty cycle from 0 to 100% and restart the priming phase. Unit dimensions: 40x35x10mm (1.6×1.4×0.4inch)
Voltage range: 6- 18V. Max current 10 amp
Temperature range: -40C 80C (-40F – 176F)

Timer configuration:

To adjust the timer’s settings, place the module into configuration mode by applying power and then connecting the white wire momentary to the ground. (Do not connect white to the ground permanently).
Module configuration is done by connecting a computer or a smartphone to the LiveWell timer module via a Wi-Fi network. Follow the steps below:

  1. Search for the available Wi-Fi networks on your computer/phone.
  2. Connect the computer/phone to the “Timers.shop.wifinnn” wireless network.
  3. Open a browser and enter the following into the address bar: 192.168.4.1, then click Go or Connect. Use the browser’s address bar and not a search bar like Google.
  4. Once connected, you will be presented with the following menu. If the menu looks different, check the UI and Firmware update here.Timers LiveWell Aerator Timer Configurable Via Wi-F - Standard 3
  5. Click on LIVEWLL CONFIGURATION and make necessary changes to the timer’s configuration.Timers LiveWell Aerator Timer Configurable Via Wi-F - CONFIGURATION
  6. Once the necessary changes are made, click SAVE. Recycle power to test the newly updated configuration.

The configuration consists of one priming phase and three sequential periods performed one after the other. The example above will prime at 100% for 5 seconds, then cycle through 30% output for 10 seconds, 80% for 5 seconds, and 30% for 10 seconds. To stop the pump during the period, set the duty to 0%. Period 3 can be disabled by setting the duration to 0 seconds.
Time features two outputs: Positive – Yellow and Ground control – Orange. Set the output type according to the wiring configuration.
The timer features two input controls: Blue – Duty override, and Green – restart priming.  To test the pump’s response to the specific PWM value, click on the TEST PUMP PWM RESPONSE menu and evaluate various duty cycles to ensure the pump operates at the appropriate rate. The pump must be submerged in water, as the dry pump response will differ.

Troubleshooting:

  • If you lose a network connection to the network ‘Timers.shop. wifi’, try disabling automatic connections to other known networks. Some computers/phones will try to switch the network if the current network does not appear to be connected to the Internet.
  • If no menu actions are taken, the unit restarts after 5 minutes of inactivity.
  • If the module does not produce Wi-Fi, ensure the White wire is not permanently grounded. It should be momentarily grounded once the timer is powered on to enable WiFi.
  • If you see only the Firmware update menu, ensure that the White wire is not connected to the ground. Recycle the unit’s power and then momentarily ground the White wire.
  • If you run into other issues, the Live Chat is available on our main page: https://timers.shop
