Important: Dispose of WEEE (Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment), used batteries/rechargeable batteries, and packaging in accordance with the laws and regulations in force in your country. Check the dealer's website, the website of your local service provider, or your municipal waste management authority to learn how to dispose of WEEE, used batteries/rechargeable batteries, and packaging correctly. Proper disposal ensures compliance with legal regulations and contributes to a cleaner environment.
4.1 Product
Any electrical and electronic equipment placed on the European market shall bear the following symbol [WEEE symbol], indicating that the equipment must be disposed of separately from unsorted municipal waste at the end of its useful life.
- Owners of WEEE shall dispose of it separately from unsorted municipal waste.
- Spent batteries and accumulators, which are not enclosed by the WEEE, as well as lamps that can be removed from the WEEE in a non-destructive manner, must be removed by end users from the WEEE before it is handed over to a collection point.
- Distributors of electrical and electronic equipment are legally obliged to provide free take-back of waste. You can also hand in old devices to the collection points of the public waste management authorities or to the take-back points set up by manufacturers or distributors as defined by the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG).
- End users are responsible for deleting personal data from the WEEE to be disposed of.

- You can return used batteries to a local recycling point or battery retailer.
- Batteries/rechargeable batteries that are disposed of should be protected against short circuits, and their exposed terminals should be covered completely with insulating tape before disposal.
