Precautions
Please read carefully before proceeding.
Power Supply
Please connect the designated adapter to an AC outlet of the correct voltage. Please be sure the adapter supplies DC 9V 1.5A, center negative. Unplug the adapter when not in use or during electrical storms.

Top Panel
Description of the FV04 unit's top panel controls:
The FV04 is a compact effects pedal. The top panel features several knobs, buttons, switches, and input/output jacks. The main unit is blue. A separate smaller unit contains the input/output connections.
Main Unit Controls:
- 01 MODE: Selects between 11 different harmony modes.
- 02 KEY: Selects the scale root note for harmony effects.
- 03 LEVEL: Controls the volume for harmony or the guitar reverb effect.
- 04 SHARP LED button: Engages Semitone/vocal tone mode. The LED indicates the mode.
- 05 FOOTSWITCH: Powers the pedal on/off for harmony and reverb effects.
Input/Output Panel Controls:
- 06 GUITAR IN: 1/4" mono audio jack for guitar input.
- 07 GUITAR OUT: 1/4" mono audio jack for guitar output.
- 08 MIC: XLR balanced input jack for microphone input.
- 09 GAIN: Adjusts the microphone input gain level.
- 10 LINE IN: Switch to turn line signal on/off.
- 11 48V: Switch for 48V phantom power, on/off.
- 12 XLR OUT: Balanced output via an XLR connector.
- 13 LIFT/GND: Ground lift switch to reduce hum.
- 14 DC IN: Connector for the 9V DC power supply.
Instructions
1. Select Different Key/Root Note
Select the correct scale root note to get the most accurate harmony effect. The FV04 provides 12 different keys to choose from.
- Rotate the KEY knob to select between C, D, E, F, G, A, B scales.
- Press the SHARP button to modulate to higher semitones (e.g., C#, F#, A#, etc.).
2. Select Major/Minor Scale
FV04 provides major and minor scale selection. Press the SHARP button twice quickly to select the minor scale of the current root note. The SHARP button will keep blinking. Press the SHARP key twice again quickly to toggle back to the major scale. The SHARP button will stop blinking.
3. Select Harmony Mode
FV04 provides 11 different harmony modes. The table below lists the available modes:

4. Reverb Effects
FV04 has individual reverb effects for vocal and guitar.
- Vocal reverb: Press and hold the SHARP button while rotating the LEVEL knob to adjust the reverb effect level.
- Guitar reverb: Press and hold the footswitch to enter hidden mode. The Footswitch LED will turn yellow when on. Rotate the LEVEL knob to adjust the reverb effect.
5. Vocal Tone Mode
Press and hold the footswitch to enter hidden mode. While in hidden mode, press the SHARP button to switch between three different vocal tone modes. The SHARP button LED will show the currently selected mode.
- Normal (LED off)
- Warm (Red LED)
- Bright (Blue LED)
Press and hold the footswitch again to quit hidden mode. The SHARP LED will show as before.
6. Footswitch Mode
- When the FV04 is off, press the footswitch to turn on both harmony and reverb effects; the footswitch LED will stay green.
- When the FV04 is on, press the footswitch twice quickly to turn off both harmony and reverb effects; the footswitch LED will turn off.
- When the FV04 is on, press footswitch once to turn on/off harmony effect. Red footswitch LED for harmony off; Green footswitch LED for harmony on.
- When the FV04 is on, press and hold the footswitch to enter hidden mode, the footswitch LED will turn yellow; Press and hold the footswitch to exit.
7. Line-In Mode
Toggle the LINE IN switch to turn on line-in mode. When turned on, users can connect a microphone amplifier or other different FV series pedals to the MIC IN jack.
8. Output Mode
Press and hold the footswitch while powering on the FV04 to switch between individual output mode or mixed output mode. The TONE button and footswitch LED will blink for a while then turn off. The color of the TONE button and footswitch LED will indicate the current mode. Blue for individual mode, and red for mixed mode.
- Individual mode: Guitar signal will only go out from the GUITAR OUT. Microphone signal will go out from the XLR OUT.
- Mixed mode: Guitar and microphone signal will go through both GUITAR OUT and XLR OUT.

Missing Safety Instructions
- Choking hazard due to swallowing of small parts, especially for children. Note on proper disposal of plastic covers and packaging to prevent choking hazard.
- Definition of intended use and notice that any other use, as well as use under other operating conditions, is considered improper use.
