Yes, it is compatible with Windows 10.
I can get it to function on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. I tried the km approach the other user suggested, but the script encountered a problem. At that point, I realized the shell script needed a manual edit to remove the version number from the driver’s directory; after that, the shell script worked without a hitch. Additionally, when I inserted this adapter into a USB 2.0 port, the wifi would not recognize the password; however, when I plugged it into a USB 3.0 port (obviously, haha), the wifi recognized the password and functioned without a hitch.
Technically speaking, this adds a new network adapter to your PC or laptop. With an existing wireless adapter, it CANNOT be used as a range extender. The range may be greater than your existing adaptor. But it won’t at all serve as a complement. A device that is completely distinct from any other network adapter (wired or wireless).

My best guess is no because drivers must be installed for a PC in order to function. There are no gaming console drivers available for installation. I’m not sure what internet speeds are available for current consoles, but I believe you’ll just have to make do with what the consoles can currently handle. To get faster speeds, you might need to wait for the next generation of consoles.
For Linux, there are drivers available. how well it will function with your settings.
