- శుభ్రమైన భాగాలు: Before initial use, wash all parts of the kit (glass jar, lid, pressing disc, and tongs) with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry. The glass is resistant and odor-proof.
- కూరగాయలను సిద్ధం చేయండి: Wash and cut your chosen vegetables (e.g., cucumbers, carrots, cabbage) into desired shapes and sizes. Ensure they fit comfortably within the jar.
- Fill the Jar: Place the prepared vegetables into the glass jar. Do not overfill; leave some space at the top for the brine and pressing disc.
- Add Brine: Prepare your pickling brine (typically water, salt, and optional spices). Pour the brine over the vegetables, ensuring they are fully submerged. Leave approximately 1-2 inches of headspace from the rim of the jar.
- Insert Pressing Disc: Place the adjustable pressing disc on top of the vegetables. Gently press down to ensure all vegetables remain submerged under the brine. This prevents exposure to air, which can lead to spoilage.
- మూత భద్రపరచండి: Place the lid onto the jar and twist to seal. The exclusive Lékué valve on the lid is designed to allow excess CO2 produced during fermentation to escape, while preventing outside air from entering.

Operating Instructions (Fermentation Process)
- Fermentation Location: Place the sealed jar in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight. Ideal fermentation temperatures are typically between 18-22°C (65-72°F).
- Monitor Fermentation: Over the next few days to weeks, you will observe bubbles forming in the brine. This indicates active fermentation and the release of CO2, which the Lékué valve will manage.
- Fermentation Duration: The fermentation time varies depending on the type of vegetable, temperature, and desired tanginess. Taste periodically after a few days to determine when the pickles have reached your preferred flavor and texture.
- Using the Tongs: The included tongs are dual-use. They can be used to press down the vegetables during preparation to ensure they stay submerged, and also for serving your finished pickles.
- Storage After Fermentation: Once fermentation is complete, transfer the jar to the refrigerator. Cold temperatures will slow down the fermentation process significantly. Pickled vegetables can typically be stored in the refrigerator for several weeks or even months.

నిర్వహణ మరియు శుభ్రపరచడం
Proper cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and hygiene of your Lékué Pickling Kit.
- డిష్వాషర్ సేఫ్: All components of the Lékué Pickling Kit are dishwasher safe for convenient cleaning.
- చేతులు కడగడం: If washing by hand, use warm soapy water and a soft sponge or brush. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue.
- Odor Resistance: The glass jar is designed to be odor-resistant, but ensure thorough cleaning after each use, especially if fermenting strong-smelling ingredients.
- ఎండబెట్టడం: Allow all parts to dry completely before reassembling or storing to prevent mold or mildew growth.
ట్రబుల్షూటింగ్
- No Bubbles During Fermentation: This could indicate a lack of active fermentation. Ensure the temperature is within the ideal range (18-22°C / 65-72°F). Verify that the salt-to-water ratio in your brine is correct. Sometimes, fermentation can be slow to start.
- Mold Growth: Mold typically appears as fuzzy, discolored spots on the surface of the brine or vegetables. This is usually due to exposure to air. Ensure vegetables are fully submerged under the brine using the pressing disc. If mold appears, discard the batch.
- Too Much Gas Buildup: The exclusive Lékué valve is designed to release excess CO2. If you notice excessive pressure or bubbling, ensure the valve is clear and not obstructed.
- Vegetables Not Submerged: Use the adjustable pressing disc to keep vegetables fully under the brine. If vegetables float above the brine, they are exposed to air and can spoil.
