Exterior Assembly
The exterior assembly includes the exterior knob body, confirm
button, and cylinder.
Interior Assembly
The interior assembly consists of the interior knob body,
privacy mode button, and reset button.
Installation Instructions
Step 1: Installation Overview
Start by assembling the latch bolt on the exterior and interior
sides of the door. Secure with screws A and B.
Step 2: Installation Dimension
Adjust the latch according to the measurements provided. Ensure
the beveled edge faces the door frame.
Step 3: Installing the Latch
Mount the lock onto the door, then install the strike plate on
the door frame using screws A.
Step 4: Installing Door Knob
Insert the spindle and standoffs into the latch, install 4 AAA
batteries, and connect wire connectors for the interior knob.
Lock Setup
- Download the Smart Life app from Google Play or App Store.
- Create a user account in the app.
- Add the smart knob to your account.
Using Your Lock
- To unlock, use the backup key. Insert and turn it, then rotate
the knob. - To lock, wait for it to auto-lock after 5 seconds or adjust
settings for auto-lock delay time. - To reset, press and hold the reset button on the interior for 5
seconds. - To enable Passage Mode, long-press the interior button for 3
seconds. - To disable Passage Mode, follow the same steps to enable it
again. - Privacy Mode can be activated by short-pressing the privacy
mode button.

3. Installation
Step 2 Installation Dimension
1.Measure the backset: the distance from the edge of the door to the center of the deadbolt hole. It should be 2 in (60 mm) or 2 ¾ in (70 mm).
Step 3 Installing the Latch
1.Mount the lock onto the door, ensuring during installation that the beveled edge of the lock faces the door frame.

1.Install the spindle Exterior Knob
Insert the spindle and the standoffs into the corresponding holes of the single latch.
3.Install 4 AAA batteries(1.5V) (Not included) and battery
2.Install the Interior KnobConnect wire connector to the interior knobthen use a screwdriver to complete the installation

1.Download the Smart Life app from Google Play or App Store
3.Add the Smart Knob
2.Create a User Account
æTouch the keypad to wake up the door lock, then click “Add Device” on the APP, and the device will be automatically searched.
çAfter selecting the device, the APP will complete the device addition shortly.

5. Using your lock
1.How to Unlock ?
· Unlock by Fingerprint. · Unlock by Password( Include temporary password) · Unlock by APP one-tap.

2.How to unlock the door with an backup key?
Insert the key and turn it, then hold the knob and rotate it to unlock the door.
3.How to Lock ?
By default, it will automatically lock 5 seconds after unlocking. You can adjust the auto – lock delay time in the settings.
4.How to Reset ?
After removing the battery cover on the interior, press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds to reset the device.
5.What is the Passage Mode ?
Long press the interior button for 3S to enable passage mode When enabled,the lock stays open. How can I disable it ?
Disable it after unlocking with a valid fingerprint or password. · Disable it after long press the interior button for 3S again.
6.What is the Privacy Mode ?
One-tap the interior button to enable privacy mode When enabled,the door unlocks from the inside,only admin user and backup key can unlock it. How can I disable it ? · Disable it after unlocking with admin user. · Disable it with interior button one-tap again.

QWhat scenarios is this door lock suitable for? AThis door lock is recommended for installation in bedrooms, offices, studies, storage rooms, etc.
QHow many passwords and fingerprint can the lock store? AUp to 100 fingerprint and 50 passwords.
QWhat battery does the door lock use? AThe door lock is powered by 4 AAA batteries (Not included)
Q What temperatures can the lock handle? A The exterior assembly can handle temperatures within the range of -10°C to 50°C. We do not recommend using the lock outside of these conditions.
QWhat door thickness is compatible with this lock? AThe lock is compatible with doors 1.38in/35mm to 2.13 in/55mm thick.
Q Why can’t the latch be installed? A Check the backset length(2.36in/60mm or 2.76in/70mm) and adjust the latch to match.
Q How to reset the lock? A After removing the battery cover on the interior, press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds to reset the device.
Q How can l know the battery level is low? A The lock will issue low battery alerts every time the lock is unlocked.
Q How can l unlock when the battery level is dead? A Connect a 5V power bank to activate the lock temporarily,then unlock the door and replace the battery.

Do not use the Device in the environment at too high or too low temperature,never expose the Device under strong sunshine or too wet environment.
The suitable temperature for the product and accessories is -10°C to 50°cCharging temperature: 0°C to 40°C).
It is recommended to supply the device in an environment with a temperature that ranges from 5°C-25°C.
When supplying, please place the device in an environment that has a normal room temperature and good ventilation.
Your biometric data is stored locally on the device, not in the cloud, ensuring safety and privacy.
