1. Introduktion

4. Installation (Inställning)

1. Förbered gräsklipparen: Ensure the lawn mower is turned off, the spark plug wire is disconnected (petrol mowers), or the battery is removed/power cord unplugged (electric mowers). Tilt the mower onto its side with the carburetor/air filter facing upwards to prevent fuel/oil leakage.

5. Säkra bladet: Reinstall the washer(s) and blade bolt(s). Tighten the bolt(s) securely with a torque wrench to the manufacturer's specified torque (refer to your mower's manual). If no torque specification is available, tighten firmly.
6. Slutkontroll: Ensure the blade is firmly attached and spins freely without wobbling. Reconnect the spark plug wire or battery/power cord.

5. Operation (with New Blade)

After installing the new blade, ensure all safety precautions are observed before operating the lawn mower. Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) including eye protection, hearing protection, and sturdy footwear.

• Before starting, clear the mowing area of any debris, stones, or objects that could be struck by the blade.
• Start the mower according to its manufacturer's instructions.
• Operate the mower at a safe and steady pace. Avoid sudden movements or impacts.
• If the mower strikes an object, immediately turn it off, disconnect the power source, and inspect the blade for damage. Replace a damaged blade before further use.

6. Underhåll

Regular maintenance of your blade ensures efficient cutting and extends its lifespan. Always follow safety guidelines before performing maintenance.

• Rengöring: After each use, disconnect the power source and carefully clean grass clippings and debris from the blade and underside of the mower deck. This prevents buildup that can affect cutting performance and balance.
• Inspektion: Regularly inspect the blade for signs of wear, nicks, bends, or cracks. A bent or cracked blade can cause dangerous vibrations and should be replaced immediately.
• Skärpning: While this blade can be sharpened, it is recommended to have it professionally sharpened to maintain proper balance. An unbalanced blade can cause excessive vibration and damage to the mower. If sharpening yourself, ensure both cutting edges are sharpened equally to maintain balance.
