WARNING:
Before beginning any service procedure in this section, refer to Safety Warnings in Section

100- 00. Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. REFER to Section 100-02, Jacking and Lifting, Lifting Points.
Remove the RH splash shield. REFER to Section 501-02, Fender Splash Shield.

Remove the accessory drive belt. REFER to Section 303-05, Accessory Drive Belt – 3.5L Ti-VCT, 3.7L Ti-VCT.
Remove the crankshaft pulley bolt and washer.
- Discard the bolt.
NOTE: Use a three-leg puller (such as Matco Tools® MST9740D, or equivalent). Using a three-leg puller, remove the crankshaft pulley.

Lubricate the crankshaft front seal inner lip and crankshaft pulley outside diameter sealing surfaces with clean engine oil.
Using 303-102 T74P-6316-B and 303-335 T88T-6701-A , install the crankshaft pulley.

Using strap wrench, install the crankshaft pulley washer and new bolt and tighten in 4 stages.
- Stage 1: Tighten to 120 Nm (89 lb-ft).
- Stage 2: Loosen one full turn.
- Stage 3: Tighten to 50 Nm (37 lb-ft).
- Stage 4: Tighten an additional 90 degrees.
Install the accessory drive belt. REFER to Section 303-05, Accessory Drive Belt – 3.5L Ti-VCT, 3.7L Ti-VCT.

Install the RH splash shield. REFER to Section 501-02, Fender Splash Shield.
After completing the repairs, use the scan tool to perform the Misfire Monitor Neutral Profile Correction procedure, following the on-screen instructions.
