Thank you for purchasing the Vangoa VGK6101 intelligent electronic keyboard. This instrument is rich in expressiveness, versatile, elegant, easy to learn, and use, making it an ideal choice for beginners, music education, and entertainment. To maximize its functions, please read this manual carefully before use.
The keyboard features numerous control buttons for various functions. These include:
The rear panel of the keyboard includes the following ports:
This keyboard operates on 6 AA batteries, located in the battery compartment at the back. Ensure batteries are inserted correctly. Replace batteries when the sound distorts or the keyboard does not produce sound. Remove batteries when not using the keyboard for extended periods.
Only use the adapter supplied with this keyboard. Ensure the input voltage matches the mains voltage. Unplug the AC adapter when the keyboard is not in use.
To power on the keyboard, press the [Power] switch. The LED screen will illuminate, indicating the keyboard is operational.
Press the [Timbres] button to enter timbre selection mode, then use the numeric panel to choose the desired timbre. In chord mode, the 19 keys on the left side of the keyboard function as chord tones instead of their corresponding notes.
Sustain and Vibrato effects are only active in playing mode.
Rhythms Selection: Press the [Rhythms] button to enter rhythm selection mode, then use the numeric panel to choose the desired rhythm. Press [Start/Stop] to stop the rhythm.
Accompaniment Selection: This function supports both single-finger and multi-finger chords. Without rhythm playing, chords are played manually. With rhythm playing, chords will automatically correspond to the selected rhythm.
Single-finger chord playing methods:
Multi-fingered chord playing methods:
Chord Type | Chord Finger-Method |
---|---|
C | 1, 3, 5 |
Cm | 1, b3, 5 |
C7 | 1, 3, (5), b7 |
Cm7 | 1, b3, (5), b7 |
In rhythm playing mode, activating single-finger or multi-finger chord will automatically add the corresponding accompaniment. Turning off single-finger, multi-finger, or chord off will stop the accompaniment, but the rhythm will continue.
Pressing the [Chord Off] button disables chord functions and accompaniment, returning all keys to normal.
Chord Timbres Selection: Press the [Bass Chord] button to change chord timbres.
Automatic Accompaniment Control: In rhythm playing, press the [Insert] button to insert an interlude. Holding [Insert] will replay the interlude.
Sync: Press the [Sync] button to activate the sync function. The automatic rhythm or accompaniment starts when keys in the accompaniment area are pressed for the first time. Pressing this key during rhythm playback will stop the rhythm and enter the synchronization state.
Tempo: The [Tempo] button affects demos and rhythms. Pressing [+] or [-] adjusts the speed relative to the default.
Hold [+] or [-] to speed up volume adjustment. Holding [+] and [-] of the corresponding volume simultaneously for about 2 seconds will restore the default value.
There are 61 percussions. Press the [Timbres] button, then type "128" on the numeric panel to convert the keyboard into percussion keys. Each key corresponds to a percussion instrument.
Press the [Metronome] button to start the metronome. The metronome effect is added during playing. Continuous pressing cycles through: 1/4 beat, 2/4 beat, 3/4 beat, 4/4 beat, and stop.
Pressing the [Split] button divides the 61 black and white keys into two keyboard areas. The 24 keys on the left are separated from the original keyboard, with their pitch raised by 8 degrees, maintaining the original timbre.
The pitch of the right part decreases by 8 degrees, matching the left part. The right part's timbre can be selected independently, allowing the left and right parts to play different timbres simultaneously.
Pressing [Transpose +] or [Transpose -] changes the playing method, shifting the entire keyboard pitch in semitones. The adjustment range is between "+6" and "-6".
Maximum recording capacity: 150 notes.
Press the [Record] button to enter recording mode. In recording mode, press keys to record notes. Chords and percussions cannot be recorded when the memory is full, but recorded notes will not be affected.
Press the [Play] button to play recorded notes sequentially. Pressing again stops playback. To exit recording mode, press [Record] or [Stop].
Maximum programming capacity: 32 percussions.
Press the [Program] button to enter program mode. In program mode, press keys to edit drum sounds (percussion). Percussions cannot be programmed when the memory is full. After programming, press [PLAY] to play percussions sequentially. Pressing again stops playback. New programming can continue while playback is stopped. To exit program mode, press [Program] or [Stop].
In demo playing mode, you can select the corresponding song using the numeric panel or [+] [-] buttons.
This keyboard features lighting keys that illuminate during playing, teaching functions, and demos. The system default is lighting on. Press the [Lighting] button to toggle lighting off/on.
The intelligent teaching function is divided into three steps to guide beginners:
